By the way, anyone catch Inside the NBA last night?

After they were showing highlights from the Warriors/Nuggets game, Shaq said he had a new nickname for David Lee, "WCW" or "White Chris Webber" (Webber was in studio). After a few seconds, Ernie pops up and says "Wait, I thought that nickname belonged to Darko?!"

Surely Rick Carlisle has been in Dallas longer then some of those, hasn't he?

I knew someone would ask. He was hired in May of 2008, roughly one week after Spoelstra was hired.

I like how Kobe is telling Gasol to wear big boy pants and quit whining. Maybe this whiner should just demand another trade to Chicago.

I don't mind a bad team name if it's got something to do with the city or state history. I want to see what mascot they come up with lol.

Also, Wizards beat Heat. Wittman GOAT!

In one night, Wittman coached his team to victory and managed to double the team's total wins.

I watch a lot of Lakers games this season.

And I smile.

Every single time they lose in a humilating fashion.

Which happens.

A lot.

I just realized what position the Warriors currently have in the standings. The heck are they doing up there? Are they 'legit' or just a product of an easy schedule?

My initial reaction to Pelicans was LOL but I've gotten use to it and, after learning the history of the name to the city and state, I think it is a good name. Much better than stupid names like Thunder and Heat.

I don't get the article. It says "nickname". Isn't that the official name? Will it be New Orleans Hornets AKA the Pelicans. What other name is there? Pelicans will be their proper name right not a nickname.

They're kinda inconsistent. They have some good wins, but also some bad losses, including at home vs Orlando.

I can't help but think that Benson and Hornets upper management are going to hear the fans input on how bad the name sounds and change their minds.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt
