Happy to see Beasley having a good game. Hope he finds a way to keep up this level of play all season. I have lost all hope for Wesley though.

Did I just see Johnson dribble through traffic and set up Morris for the slam?

I always forget how dumb Corey Brewer is, basketball wise. Very active, great effort, but sooo dumb.

From GB:

Shocking that it was this soon after the word was out that his contract negotiations didn't go well. I think the Thunder actually got a really solid deal while the Rockets get a bonafide star SG to go along with Lin in the backcourt.

https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA

The Rockets send Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb and future draft considerations to the Thunder for Harden, sources tell Y! Sports.

Along with All-Star guard James Harden, the Thunder will send Cole Aldridge, Lazr Hayward and Daquan Cook to the Rockets, source tells Y!

As part of deal, Thunder will receive "significant" future draft picks from Houston, source tells Y! Sports.

Wait, OKC got 2013 TOR 1st?! Damn!

I think HOU won this year, but OKC won long term.

I think I agree... but Harden and a good backup in Aldrich... I still like it for Hou though.

there is no "long term" when you are a contender.

the whole point of this thing is to win a chip.

holy crap! click on the 3rd page of this thread and see the two posts above me and i'm like wtf are they talking about, go to yahoo and bam! if fricken derrick williams had played well last year we could have been amongst it with harden. great deal for houston, beside the (imo) stupid lin signing and letting dragic go they are building something pretty nice down there.

OKC got 2013 Tor 1st (top 3 prot), 2013 Dal 1st (top 20 protected), and 2013 Cha 2nd plus Jeremy Lamb along with Martin for Harden, Aldrich, Cook, Hayward.

3 Picks in an absolutely awful Draft? I would have thought maybe they had some interest in Motiejunas, Terrance Jones, or Royce White too. I would have taken any of the 3 over that Dallas pick.

And OKC was apparently only 4.5 mil off (or 1.1 mil a year) what Harden wanted. Sad. Now Houston is going to give him a 5 year max. We'll see how well he keeps up the efficiency without Westbrook and Durant to draw attention, playing with Lin and a bunch of hot garbage.

I guess they'll have to hope Lamb or that Tor pick turns into another big piece of the puzzle.

Didn't see this one coming! Harden is greedy, why would you turn down a great offer from a team like OKC to walk away to an average team like Houston for a few mil more? :nonono:

It makes a division rival of ours worse, but OKC will still be up the top of the west anyway and it makes Houston, who we'll be competing with for the 8th seed, better.

He'll probably get the 5-year max, for one thing.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

He still won't end up getting that much more over 5 years than he would have got had he chose to stay in OKC.

No, the one who is greedy is Bennett. Harden already sacrificed by coming of the bench behind an inferior player. Now they want him to take financial hit as well? Only because the owner is crying poverty, when the team made 30-35 million PROFIT last season? **** Bennett.
