Maybe Kahn called the Cavs to inquire about his availability?

Poor guy can't catch a break.

At least that saves us from trading for him.

Bobcats are the epitome of a young team that chokes. They choke away every time down the stretch.

EXACTLY what I've been saying. We better watch for Rudy Gay now.

Anyone see Pau's stat line yesterday? 25 points, showing what he can do when not restricted to standing on the perimeter

I watched the game yesterday. While I was kinda happy for Pau to be playing better in this game I'm really surprised to see that he scored 25. It certainly didn't feel like this. Maybe I was too busy laughing my ass off at yet another Lakers loss.

i would assume that gasol should be able to take advantage of a relatively weak raptor front court. still MDA isn't maximizing his talents. also the lakers have seemingly thrown him under the bus.

It will be interesting to see how the Lakers front office views his trade value though. Do they try hard to get out of under his contract?! Or, despite being mismanaged, do they still hold his value as much as RGM Lakers fans?

Well, since they don't want longterm salary...

Grizzlies make a trade with Cavaliers to clear salary.

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/8868058/memphis-grizzlies-cleveland-cavaliers-agree-multiplayer-trade-sources-say

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=alef843

Nice move by the Cavaliers to capitalize on the Grizzlies situation although all the parts are fairly minor. The future first is likely Memphis' '15 and most likely lotto-protected. We'll see if this hurts the Grizzlies depth down the stretch.
