i'd like to not rush svhed in the s5 but build him slowley. obviously hegot all the tools to be a startig guard in the league and this wolves team is the perfect place for to develop. btw i was really impressed by his defense against williams, he needs some more muscles and in my opion, he can be a real good defender on the 1 and 2.
Maybe Pek should drag him to the weight room like he forced him to cut his hair.

Well, Adelman knows he has four Euroleague players and they don't care to be or no to be starter.

BTW, I think never a NBA team had 4 Euroleague stars in his team, 4 players who can play the important minutes. Ricky and Pekovic have got 1 championship, Kirilenko is the 2012 MVP and him and Shved played the 2012 final.

We not are the Timberwhites, we are the Eurowolves.

I agree, and I think this is how it stays until Kevin and Ricardo return. At that time, who knows...maybe we make the switch.

Ricard ... "Ricardo" is a Spanish first name and his name is a Catalan name ... "Ricard".

Exactly, you said Ricky-Ricardo like in C-U-B-A. The Rubio from Cuba is Marco and Ricky's brother is Marc Rubio. Do you understand?

I couldn't watch the Brooklyn game unfortunately but I hope he spent lots of time together with AK47. Their on court chemistry must be quite good.

BTW did the haircut ever get brought up?

You think because of that we win?" Pekovic asked. "Me and AK, we make him to cut his hair. Now he look like a man."

with rick adelman ive learned it doesnt really matter who starts cause when u needs buckets he goes with certain players and sticks with them. he hasnt played dwill at all torwards the end of games.

shved is easily one the best on our team running the pick and roll because he has enough speed and size to actually turn the corner opposed to luke,jj, and broy. when he shoots even if its not going in i can see the spots he takes are nice and his release is super smooth.

Do not exaggerate. 3 games, 18.3 MPG, 6.0 PPG, 29% FG, 27% 3P, 2.3 APG, 2.3 REB.

He is better and defend better than all you expected (as usual with all European players) but still has to demonstrate more things.

What is clear is that he has the experience and does not hesitate to shot in the clutch time, but sometimes makes your team lose. And still it is not a pure PG but a combo guard or even a SG.

This is true, he does sometimes get in the air without a real plan and has to try to make something out of nothing.

He has a tendency to pass which is ok since he is an excellent passer, but when he is playing the 2 he needs to take the shot when it is there instead of passing out of it.

Heck of a player and heck of a find for Kahn.

Don't blame Ginobili for that, Shved's hair is out of reach for the rest of the human being

The tape on him is much, much better than his stats thus far. And you can't quantify his defense with numbers.
He's been excellent running and defending the pick and roll, finding open shooters, and finishing around the basket. I think his shooting #'s will improve with more minutes.

So far he has only been running the pick and roll. I think Adelman wants him to be able to run more of his offense before he fully unleashes him and leaves him out there as the only PG.

Timberwolves PR ‏@Twolves_PR

#Twolves Alexey Shved ranks 2nd among NBA rookies in assists (4.0 apg), 11th in scoring (7.2 ppg) and 13th in rebounds (3.2 rpg).

2nd with 4 assists seems weak. That number should only get higher.
