Which I'm really surprised about. I thought he was their favorite son...

Yea I'm kind of suprised by some of their fans as well. I hope they at least cheer for him when he has his comeback game.

Seems he just banged his knee into someone again, nothing big :)
He's on the plane to Chicago at the moment.

Like I said in the game thread, when they said it was a "sore" knee, I wasn't concerned. We've been very careful with him, and I'm not surprised we held him out.

why keep such close tabs on roy? blazers fans need to move on with this one. wolves fans are ok with roy on the bench and shved, ridnour, jj, etc, handling the rock.

Who? The Blazers? Of Potland? Are they in our division? Where are they in the standings?

Please refrain from getting in arguments with bottom dwellers.

He will get a 5 minute standing ovation. He is still beloved here we just know that he straight up cannot physically plan any more :(

I guess that explains why I've ignored the Timberwolves for the past half a decade.

Not sure where you get this thought process from?

Because we predicted he would have trouble putting up a full season? You think the Blazer fan base here is so damn interested in being right that we want him to fail? Jesus dude, I still want to get a Brandon Roy signed jersey here someday because he will be one of my top 5 favorite players all-time FOREVER.

Even if he plays for god forbid the Lakers, I will still want to see him succeed. Many Blazer fans are still fans of Roy and know what he did for the franchise.

Crap if he could make a full recovery, it would be in the best interest for the Blazers also because then maybe someday he comes back to Portland. It's not like the amnesty clause means he is forever off the team.
