Mickael Pietrus?

Post#1 » by southern wolf » Mon Nov 12, 2012 1:59 am

With Bud and Roy both likely out for a while should we make an offer to Pietrus? We need another back up wing behind the Russians and Pietrus is one of the best available FA's.

No, he sucks.

Might as well give PT to Lee then.

Petrius is a good stop gap to take Bud's minutes. Remember that Chase is our back up SF who get spot minutes at SG. Petrius is similar to Bud in this regard.

He's not that good, but I'd certainly take him far more quickly than I'd take the corpse of Raja Bell, as has been championed around here for some reason.

No he isn't. He can't shoot. The whole point of having Bud is having his corner three and his shooting in general (anything else is gravy) and Peitrus doesn't replace that at all.

Relax. We have our new savior, his name is Adam Morrison, he's like Bud but better. 2 time world champion.

We need a body at the wing Suggestions?

What are your suggestions on how the wolves should solve this issue? With Dud out for multiple weeks, Roy being shaky, we need some help. D-league? Trade? Free Agent? Do any names spring up? Who can we realistic get? Who would you like to give a 10 day too? Thoughts.

1) Some D-League shooter.

No point in bringing in washed-up NBA vets, like Peitrus, Iverson, Farmar, etc. We know they suck. They know they suck. Give the chance to some young unknown guys. Find another Morrow.

2) Trade.

Package D-Will and something for JJ Redick. Get. It. Done.

I'd rather have him than Pietrus.

I'd bring back Jermaine Taylor.

Or else ADAM MORRISON

We already have Roy, no need for another former all-star that can barely move. Josh Howard can be called if we decide to renovate Target Center's exterior with bricks.

This.

Why are people so enamoured with former NBA hasbeens? They suck. That's why they been kicked out of the league in the first place.

Terrence Williams? Can we get him from China? He's been in Rick's system.

How about Lazar Hayward? :D
