I think Ryan Gomes is unsigned.

Gomes could be a legit option.

Are there any d-leaguers you guys are familiar with?

Chris Wright could play some 3 for us and give Shved a large chunk of minutes at PG/SG.

Start Cunningham with Amundson as back up, and bring in D-Will behind AK at the 3???? Wishful thinking that his could work?

Coby Karl was surprisingly decent in preseason with Portland.
Also there's Chris Douglas-Roberts.

Andrew Goudelock
James Anderson
Christian Eyenga

All guys who can play the two and are in the D-League right now. Eyenga intrigues me a little.

The team's back court essentially depleted. The organization was capable of delaying a Batum signing for weeks, but Kahn really can't afford to delay a potential solution.

We shouldn't just limit this to Pietrus. I'd throw Josh Howard's name in the discussion. Pietrus is not a do it yourself kind of guy, and I'm skeptical that he can produce when our ball handlers are struggling with injuries. Howard might be a viable candidate if he can pass a physical and prove that he's healthy.

Gerald Henderson for Derrick Williams straight up.

Hendo is being held out a few games due to precautions with foot, but he will be back in a week.

Once your team was healthy....

Rubio-Ridnour- Barea
Hendo- Roy
AK- Budinger
Love- Cunningham
Pek- Amundson- Steisma

Henderson can play both the wing spots. Is a good midrange shooter. Can hit the three ball when left open. Is a really good defender and he rebounds good for his position. This would allow Roy to come off the bench and stay fresh, pick his spots, and be more of a spot up shooter. Also, you guys wouldnt be putting all your eggs in a basket with bad knees.

We are just over loaded at the wing and nobody worth **** at the power forward.

Merged the Pietrus thread into this one.

I thought about Delonte West. He's **** crazy, but he can play. And he can't be worse than Bonzi or Artest and they both behaved playing for Adelman.

West is a pretty good player. I'd take a chance on him and cut Conroy in the process. Then once Rubio comes back try to flip Ridnour/Barea + D-will and spare parts to get an upgrade somewhere. West can play the 2 and the 1 while Shved handles.

Otherwise I think we could be alright without Bud for now.

Ridnour/Barea(Shved/Lee until Barea is 100%)
Shved/Roy(Lee can play some until Roy is good to go) Lee has been solid and provides some defense in our backcourt.
AK47/Dwill can play some more SF minutes
Dwill/Cunningham/Lou
Pek/Steemer

Shved, Lee and Dwill will probably just have to pick up some slack...even if Dwill has been pretty disappointing so far.

Wonder about Mike Dunleavy in Milwaukee. He's playing amazing so far and has been a pretty solid player the last couple of seasons. Do they like Udrih or would they want to have Ridnour back there?

Courtney Lee or Leandro Barbosa from Boston? Jason Terry seems to be winning playing time over both of them. Barbosa would probably be the easiest to get, but those would be some very small line-ups with presumably Shved playing 3.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

I actually think this would be a solid trade for both teams. Henderson is pretty good defensively and a 3pt shot away from being a 15 ppg scorer on a good team. The Bobcats on the other hand are desperately in need of some front court talent. Mullens, Diop and Tyrus Thomas are terrible. And Haywood is only a stop gap at the C position.

A Biyombo-Williams combo would at least have potential on both offensive and defensive end of the floor.

This is a good point. Best case scenario is to find someone who understands Adelman's system so he can hit the ground running. Is there anyone else on the list? He gets a plus if he can defend.

And good pull on Terrence Williams too. I'd already forgotten all about him -- out of sight, out of mind, I guess.

EDIT: I just checked on his contract, and hoopsworld says he can't play in the NBA until the end of the China Basketball Association season in March.

He was seemingly in Adelman's dog house. He played a total of 84 minutes.

Yep, I recall the Rockets fans talking about how Adelman refused to play him because of his knuckleheadedness.

It's a shame we can't just get Bjelicia over here right now.
