Boy, how good would Nicolas Batum look at SF for the Wolves? Since Durant and James play PF fr the most part, Batum s probably the best SF in the NBA.

Consider yourself warned and check your messages

irrelevant...

My only concern is management proves naive to the pont where they actually believe a significant trade is unnecessary. We need someone who can stroke the three - period. Kloves return will help, but a Williams/JJB or Ridnour package is still the best avenue we have if the Rube proves physically capable by the deadline.

Nope, no way. Even if he wanted which i seriously doubt.

Speaking of players currently in Europe, if you don't make any move this season Weems would be a great addition next summer. He's impoved quite a bit his decision making since his Raptors days.

I'm guessing we will start seeing more rumors pop up the next couple days/weeks. It will be interesting the type of players they will go after. I could see Stuckey and Ellis' names pop up in rumors. I think they will want someone who can create their own shot. With Roy as an expiring, it will help us keep Pek and Bud.

I only disagree with Gay. The rest are clearly better SFs than Batum, end of story.

Look at the stats on Gay. He's putting up better numbers on a better team.

Looking at the stats, Batum seems to be putting clearly better numbers than Gay this season. Better PER and better TS. Batum has played very well so far this season, but Kirilenko has been just as good.

I think AK47 had been clearly better. He has led us to a respectable record without a lot of our top players playing. I don't think Batum could have done that.

Which isn't necessarily a knock on Batum since you shouldn't expect that kind of leadership from a guy in his 5th year.

The Blazers are a minus team with Batum on the floor. He puts up individual numbers, but the team gives up more points than they score with Batum on the floor. Same with all of last year, and the year before that. Aldridge, Roy, Andre Miller, Lillard, Gerald Wallace - all of those guys are have a plus on/off differential, but Batum is negative each and every year like clockwork. That's never been adequately explained to me.

What do you guys think of a deal involving Williams and Terrence Ross? On the T&T forum I proposed Williams, Ridnour for Ross, Gray and Lucas III. You gets a 3pt shooting SG prospect to play with Rubio and Shved. Clears 6.3 mil of salary in 2013-2014 as well
