Good news. It would be great to have both JJ and Pek back for the Denver game.

Yes, then we can take a poll on what JJ will hurt next

Mark Remme ‏@MarkRemme

Adelman said #Twolves went light today trying to save legs, Barea went through what team did. If can play will get spot minutes, add depth.

Jerry Zgoda ‏@JerryZgoda

Adelman says he expects Pek to play Wednesday. "I just hope he doesn't go bowling," he said

Timberwolves PR ‏@Twolves_PR

Another great one from Rick: "We have banned knuckle pushups. Maybe we ought to get rid of bowling; we do have some knee injuries." #twolves

Rick likes to get his topical humor going. I'm satisfied with it.

Punk or not, it's none of Adelman's business. Or rather shouldn't it be.

He tried to injure two of his players (Beasley and Barea).

Bynum made it public knowledge, so Rick can crack all the jokes he wants.

He wasn't even their coach by that time.

Sure he can, it's a free country but I still think it's uncalled for.

I know it wasn't to make fun of Bynum personally but I still find it odd, to be honest. And I'm a huge fan of comments like these. Just saying that I find it odd.

i just see it as him not taking this gig too seriously. He's coaching basketball, guys get injured, **** it. He's The Dude of NBA coaches. Of all the big name coaches, he seems like the most laid back and least dramatic. All the other big names - Phil Jackson, G Karl, Nellie, Larry Brown, Sloan, Van Gundy, there's always some combination of having to be the center of attention, weird mind games, or being a surly a-hole. Adelman has none of that, he's pretty normal. Probably fun to play for him. We got lucky.

Oh man, what a great comparison. Just thought of RA in robe with a White Russian in his hand. I wonder who you think Walter & Donny could be among the coaches

Yep, somebody in Philadelphia can feel offended and make the same joke about Rubio. Basically I agree with you but it exists a important nuance , the Rubio's injury was due a bad luck and Bynum's injury is due he is an a$$hole.

But yes, If you want avoid problems it's better keep your mouth closed.

Umm... unless I missed something Barea was knocked out by Bynum when the Lakers were about to be swept by the Mavs during their title run.
