Don't worry, nothing new, just spitballing.

Wolfson said in his "Scoops" today that Lakers have asked about Dante. This makes me think that Derrick is off-limits for now, which makes a lot of you happy. It also makes sense that the Lakers would be more interested in Dante than Derrick.

Which brings me to this...I know people are hesitant to deal Pek/Derrick package for Pau. Would a Pek/Dante package be better?

Is one stab wound better than two?

Not following your logic here. Because someone asked about Dante that means Williams is off limits?

Of course not.

Sorry, I didn't explain it well. My thought was this:

Lakers: We'll give you Pau for Pek/Williams package
Wolves: Nope, not dealing Derrick
Lakers: OK, well if you're not trading Derrick, what about Dante?

Lakers fans: That Pau trade doesn't seem fair to us. How about this - give us Rubio + D. Will + 2 future 1st rounders, we give you Pau. Good for both teams.

I smell Mitch Kupchak working his magic with you guys.

Either Gasol for Pek/Dwill or Gasol for Kirlenko/Dwill or Gasol for Pek/Cunningham.

Pick your poison. :D

Kahn has already turned down Kirilenko trades and Gasol for Pek makes absolutely no sense for the Lakers. You think Gasol and Howard are a bad fit? Try Pek and Howard. Stupid trades for both parties.

Also, it's funny how you write this on the Lakers baord:
Cashin out wrote:At least we know he is trying to trade Pau. It is sad how bad Pau Gasol trade value has dropped. He is basically hard to move in a trade at this point.

I think it is more likely we ride out this season with Pau and try to trade him on draft night. His contract expires after next season, he will be a lot more appealing to teams.

and come here with your crap above.

I was joking guys, but the word from the Lakers is that we like Dante Cunningham.

I think we already have a deal for Gasol in place, Mitch is just trying to find a pf to replace Pau and Cunningham might be his guy.

Think about it why would we trade for Cunningham with Gasol/Clark/Jamison/Cunningham at pf?

I think we are trying to make a small deal with you guys nothing involving Pau.

Yeah it is probably what we are offering, depending on what we get back in a Gasol trade.

How about Cunningham and Amundson for Jordan Hill (out for the season), cash, and the rights to Elihu?

Sure. There isn't even an offical "Injured List" in the NBA anymore.

Can't see why we would trade two healthy bodies for one out for the season. Somebody has to actually play the games.
