Here is a short clip of him in Cedevita with which he played the Euroleague.

Picture the mix in your head. I'm too lazy to look for an image editing program.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Bur seriously, let's hope he adjusts to the NBA 3pt line quickly. Anyone know much about his defense?

Solid. He really tries, and is quite strong to get steals or blocks. Decent lateral quickness and won't get posted up. Good defensive rebounder.

The flaws are more on the offense. His strengths are the fastbreak, he runs the floor really well, and the open jumpers that he hits at an above average rate. Weaknesses are creating with the ball in the half-court offense (but moves well in this offense without the ball), ball-handling. But what's important is that he knows his limits, and won't try to do too much. He is an intelligent player.

As I said in my previous quote, without his injury and with 8+years in the NBA he could have looked like someone like Batum.

Thanks. Looking forward to seeing him get some minutes!

Don't worry with Gelabale, you'll be happy with him I'm sure. Smart player team driven who doesn't force things or take bad shots. He's an accomplished player in Euroleague with a good pedigree. He managed to change his game quite well after all those injuries he suffered. One of my favorites french players. Hope he can stick with this team because it's a perfect fit. I really think he's an Adelman type player.

Gelabale could result better than you are expecting, nearer Budinger than Howard.

But the source is still very weak.

Well if you want a team where you'll probably get great minutes to start, the Wolves are for you

Anytime you have a chance to sign a guy who has a highlight mix set to a middle era Cranberries tune you have to take it.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Zgoda chimes in

* The Wolves seem close to signing French swingman Mickael Gelabale once Lazar Hayward's 10-day contract expires.

A European Internet report Sunday said Gelebale had reached agreement with an NBA team.

The Wolves have pursued him for weeks and David Kahn said before tonight's game that their still very interested.

He did say there was a deal, but did say, "I heard there was a report. We are working on some things."

Watched him playing in the Olympics.

Seemed to be a capable player, play solid defense, can knock down perimeter jumpers.

Sounds like the start of a long and confusing joke.

A Spaniard, Frenchman, Montenegrin, Puerto Rican and two Russians walk onto a basketball court...

And...the Wolves, as expected, will sign European swingman Mickael Gelabale on Friday after Lazar Hayward's 10-day contract expires following tonight's game.

Gelabale probably already is town and very well could be at practice tomorrow. A member of the French Olympic team last summer, he will help address their needs for a defender and three-point shooter.

He played awesome for a Croatian underdog team Cedevita in Euroleague this season, he was arguably their MVP. He will be an average bench contributor at worst if you ask me.
