I hope Love sits this season and just gets ready toward 2013-14 . We need the best possible pick for either a trade or to select a SG

Just saw that 22-point lead for the Cavs disappear to a 9 point lead in a couple minutes

Right now we are looking at a top 5 pick...that's really sad with how this season started. 3 teams have fewer wins then us(Charlotte, Orlando, Washington), Cleveland has the same wins, but 3 more losses. I could see Washington passing us.

Then Phoenix, Sacramento, Philly, Detroit, Toronto, and New Orleans are all withing 3 wins of us. I could see us being "better" then all those teams except Toronto if we can get some guys healthy. I still think we will finish with a pick around 5-8. Sad.

Bold Prediction: This year, for the first time ever, the Wolves move up with their lottery draw.

I won't watch the lottery for the first time ever so maybe there's a chance.

Probably not.

A line up of

Rubio
Oladipo
Ak
Love
Pek

I think we would have one of the best perimeter defenses in the league.
It would help cover up in our weak interior defense.

so much for that theory

Last night's depressing loss may be well-timed for people that want to see our lottery pick improve. We are about to face a lot of bad teams "battling" to get a higher pick.

SUN vs NOH
MON @ MEM
THUR @ SAC
FRI @ PHX

The Hornets have played much better since Eric Gordon returned, and we now both have 22 wins. MIN has been dreadful on the road. With 19 games to go, here's how the standings shake out (by games won, not percentage):

1. 14-51 CHA
2. 18-48 ORL

3. 22-44 NOH
4. 22-44 PHX

5. 22-43 CLE
6. 22-42 WAS
7. 22-41 MIN

8. 23-44 DET *
9. 23-43 SAC *

10. 24-40 PHI
11. 26-40 TOR

* "ahead" of Wolves in winning percentage

Let me clarify for the first time in about 20 years, I'm not taking the blame for Laettner instead of Shaq.

After 3/17 win over NOH:

1. 14-52 CHA
2. 18-49 ORL

3. 22-45 PHX
4. 22-45 NOH
5. 22-44 CLE

6. 23-45 DET
7. 23-44 SAC
8. 23-42 WAS
9. 23-41 MIN (@ MEM, @ SAC, @ PHX)

10. 25-40 PHI
11. 26-41 TOR

We fell out of the 22-win teams, but it's still very close with 18 games left. I'd feel much better if the wins we pick up come from play-off teams.
