I can see them sitting guys...

9's a better number for us anyways. Just send Ricky to the lottery, and we got this cat in the bag!

For the tanker lovers, WAS and DET are losing, so a loss wouldn't've helped anything either

I think all the talk of tanking died when we beat the Suns.

9th pick here we come.

Otto Porter please.

Then with our memphis pick I would like to see us take the Caldwell-Pope!

1. Ben McLemore
2. Nerlens Noel
3. Otto Porter
4. Alex Len
5. Trey Burke
6. Anthony Bennett
7. Victor Oladipo
8. Shabazz Muhammad
9. Cody Zeller

8/9 players are pretty decent. 6/9 we could use on the team. If we have to pick between MCW or Zeller, we need to trade the pick or attach Williams + 9 to see what we can get.

At 9 there's nothing valuable, if Orlando get the 2nd or 3rd pick and they grab McLemore probably they'll be open to trade Afflalo.

Send the Roy contract not guaranteed, plus pick9 for him.

Or try another trade for a starting caliber SG, that's all.

We'd still have to add something for a contract, IMO.

Roy + Luke or JJ + #9 for AA. Then use the Memphis pick to either take a project center, or project wing we could possibly stash for a season or 2(Giannis!).

Then look to use a 2nd rounder on someone who can come in and fill a role on this team. Reggie Bullock, Travis Releford, Michael Snaer, Tim Hardaway JR, ETC. I think the 1st 2 are going to end up having good careers as role guys in the NBA for sure.

2013 NBA Lottery takes place May 21. Here are the odds.

1. Orlando Magic (20-62) 25 percent of #1 pick
2. Charlotte Bobcats (21-61) 19.9 percent
3. Cleveland Cavaliers (24-58) 15.6 percent
4. Phoenix Suns (25-57) 11.9 percent
5. New Orleans Hornets (27-55) 8.8 percent
6. Sacramento Kings (28-54) 6.3 percent
7. Detroit Pistons (29-53) 3.6 percent
8. Washington Wizards (29-53) 3.6 percent
9. Minnesota Timberwolves (31-51) 1.7 percent
10 Portland Trail Blazers (33-49) 1.1 percent
11 Philadelphia 76ers (34-48) 0.8 percent
12 Toronto Raptors (34-48) 0.7 percent
13 Dallas Mavericks (41-41) 0.6 percent
14 Utah Jazz (43-39) 0.5 percent

If Toronto's pick falls outside of the top three, it will be sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder via the Houston Rockets. In the unlikely event that Portland's pick falls outside of the top 12, it will be sent to Charlotte.

Minnesota has the 9th slot, so their odds are:

#1 1.7%
#2 2.0%
#3 2.4%
#9 81.3%
#10 12.2%
#11 0.4%
#12 0.0%

11th.

Dallas and either Portland and Philly are going to jump us.

Who cares. We're trading it anyway.

Certainly possible that there jsut isn't good value out there to do a trade. And after signing Pek and Budinger our draft picks would give us cheap players to fill roster spots.

Afflalo seems like a legitimate possibility though. He's getting to the point where he doesn't belong on that roster. When the rest of those guys are ready he'll be past his prime. Derrick Williams + Memphis or the #9/10 for him seems like it's certainly doable.

Don't think orlando wants Dwill. They have Tobias, Harkless, and Nicholson.

I think that's probably correct... unless they like D-Will more than Nicholson and want to move Nicholson.

Timberwolves PR ‏@Twolves_PR 4m
#Twolves will have No. 26 pick in the first round of @NBA Draft as #Clippers won tiebreaker today w/ #Grizzlies. MIN owns MEM pick.

No more pick watching necessary. Direct all prospect-related posts to the other thread.
