i don't know enough about the personalities of montiejunas, delfino, and asik to give an decent assessment. by default, i'm really choosing between parsons, lin, and harden. i'm having mixed feelings when it comes to those three because people have different definitions of leadership.

in the end, i reluctantly chose harden over lin. parson's twitter warfare was enough to knock him out of the race.

Harden. When the game is on the line, he's going to have the ball in his hands. He'll make the GW drive, shot, or pass. He's also payed to be Rockets #1 and is a clear superstar in this league.

I don't have the time to follow another team (closely) the way it is but from reading the General Board I can't help but think it's Harden. Also, not only did it happen against us (at least once) but I think I remember reading threads/posts when Harden had played like crap or just passively in the first three quarters but then exploded in the 4th willing Houston to the win. That's leadership to me.

But, again, I hardly follow the Rockets.

I don't think that Rockets have a great option in leadership department. And I'm not talking skillwise. I guess that Harden can be a leader, but I doubt he can be a great one. Rockets should bring a Kidd-like vet.

I don't really know enough about the leadership qualities of the players. Harden is undoubtedly the star of the team but is Lin more of a leader? I don't know. On the Wolves, Love is the star of the team and the best player but Rubio is the natural leader. Love tries hard to be a leader but it usually seems forced. With Rubio, it just happens. So, what I'm saying is your star may or may not be the leader and I don't know enough about their personalities to have an opinion.
