Roads are all completely covered in ice and I wasn't up for 9 hours of that so here I am. Hope my pipes don't freeze before I can get over there. :nonono:

Where's the cabin?

LOL at first I thought this was like a Basti joke or something. Didn't realize there's a Finland, MN.

On a similar note I used to get irritated a lot whenever I came across the word 'whilst' instead of 'while'. At first I thought of it as a horrible typo kind a thing. When I was at school I was taught the latter (and we were taught British English) and as I grew more and more used to American English it didn't change. Seems like an Australian thing. And/or New Zealand thing.

But then again, assuming it is an Australian thing, it shouldn't surprise me one bit. I wouldn't expect anything less from a bunch of criminal descents. Muahahahahaha.

I'm pretty sure both while and whilst are acceptable. And don't get me started on ze Germans.

I assumed as much but every Australian I've come across has used 'whilst'. It just got me wondering.

By the way, how popular was the show 'All Aussie Adventures' back in the day? I stumbled upon it the other day and I think it's so stupidly awesome. Time to hit the road...

Same here, mate. Too bad there's only two seasons. But that show is just too damn funny. I love the sound he makes whenever he gets hit or hurt by one of his mishaps.

 this show looks like a winner, I'm going to have to check out more

You should randomly interject in your posts with that sentence: "there's no doubt about, Aussie's love a party!", it would really spruce things up a bit.

That post is up to 77 And1s. My next four were all from the "First glimpse of the Cavs" thread on the General board. Go figure...

It's not even Thanksgiving and I'm already getting sick of winter driving. This is not good.

How much longer does your commute take on snowy and/or icy roads?

It depends on how bad the roads are but usually 20-30 minutes longer. I've had it take twice the normal time but that's when it's real bad and I try to avoid those times when possible by working at home.
