Speaking of Gophers and draft stock, am I the only one crazy to think Eliason could be drafted?

I think you might be. He looks a lot better than last year, but I doubt he's improved from being a crappy player to an NBA player.

Really looking forward to tomorrow's football game, Wisconsin is a really good team, but the Gophers are hot and playing at home. I expect the crowd to be loud and into the game, and if they somehow got a win, it would really change how people look at this team, no longer would they look past them.

Cant believe these missed calls on Wisconsin, complete failure of officiating.

Obviously Engel is being missed in the passing game, because it is struggling. Such sloppy play though, when you're playing a superior team, you cant turn the ball over and miss opportunities and that's exactly what they are doing: dropping very catchable balls, fumbling the ball.

EDIT: That was really disappointing. Defense definitely played good enough to try to win the game, but wow was there a lot of missed chances, way too many to beat that team. It's really too bad. Lot of people projected Wisconsin to win by 25 though, and they covered the spread.

I was at the game. I paid .74 cents for the ticket and then got upgraded upon arrival so the stadium would look full--doubt it worked. Sat on the 40 yard line 20 rows up. The Gophers never really looked good on either offense or defense.

I was pretty annoyed with the announcers and their "the Gophers haven't won 9 games in over a 100 years". The Gophers won 10 games in 2003.

Yeah big win and Pitino's first signature win, although Ohio State is not as good as their ranking is, but still a great win.

Another great win for the Gophers, even though it's another case of the team they beat being over ranked. The fact that it was without Andre wipes that away though, this team didnt looked phased at all by it and I love that. Also wish the Wolves had Mathieu instead of Barea lol.

That dunk was amazing, definitely should be the top play of the night.

Gophers losses- Top 3 teams in the Big 10, Syracuse, and Arkansas who they played the night after working the starters to try to beat the Orange who are now the #2 team in the nation. This team is for real. Gotta say, Pitino couldn't have found himself a better situation. We always knew that Tubby could find talent, the question was could he coach it and he couldn't. Pitino is coaching the heck out of Tubby's team with a couple other pieces and it's going to translate into success at the recruiting level as well. Here's to hoping elder Pitino stays at Louisville for a long time because that's going to be Richard's job. All I ask is 5 years to make Minnesota a place coaches and players want to be at.
