Can't tell what your deal is. Too confusing. Spell out per each team who's out and who's in, please.

I'd rather let Love walk for nothing than take back a giant poo-poo platter of average pieces that we'll have to pay.

If I'm going to trade Love, I'm not doing it for less than a top 5 pick this year and/or a young (below 25) all-star level player + extras.

So, would the Morris twins plus 4 first rounders (2014 Wizards pick, 2016 Suns pick, 2015 Lakers pick, 2015 Wolves pick), be in the range?

Idk you guys dont think this would be worth it? Gerald Green + those 3 first rounders - suns 2016 is a definite yes for me and would think hard about that green deal - 2015 wolves pick as well

I like the Morris twins. It's not a bad offer at all, but do the Suns really want to give up all those picks for a player that could walk in a year?

I wouldn't say it's a good offer. Two backup players and a handful of future non-lottery picks isn't going to get you an All-NBA 25 year old.

Any Suns offer would have to be built around Bledsoe or Dragic going to a third team and a highly valuable piece coming to Minnesota + extras.

That's fine if that's what Minny wants. A deal just won't happen then. The point of a trade is to make your team better and that would make the Suns worse. It has to be a win for both parties. No biggee, sometimes a deal is just not possible.

Yet you're fine with offering a proposal that makes the Wolves worse.

The Lakers pick is quite good.

2015 first round draft pick from L.A. Lakers
L.A. Lakers' 1st round pick to Phoenix protected for selections 1-5 in 2015, 1-3 in 2016 or 1-3 in 2017 or unprotected in 2018 [L.A. Lakers-Phoenix, 7/11/2012]

I think the Morris twins would fit nicely with Pek. They may not start but they play pretty decent minutes on a 48 win team.

If we have to trade Love, the trade is going to make us worse. It will be up to Flip to decide how much worse he wants to be - 'tanking' or regrouping.

Unless they use their cap space this summer. Or if not, they'll be bad again next year (pick stays protected) and we'll get it the next summer after they'll have even more cap space to sign guys.

Bulls Sign Greg Smith Through Next Season.

it's the type of move we need from Flip: find, cheap, high potential players in FA market. Damn... Greg Smith is special player, good hands, can catch even bad passes. Just imagine how good he could be with Rubio.

And what if they don't use their cap space this summer (as they've indicated) and with Kobe back they aren't bad enough to keep the pick? What happens then Klomp? Hmm? What happens then?

P.S. At work at 11:20 pm and starting to go to the dark side.

We're not going to find a deal that trades Love and makes us a better team immediately. Ideally we'd want a young starter with upside and multiple lottery picks.

Markieff is very underrated on RealGM. Besides rebounding, he's as good or better than players like Monroe or Vucevic at basically everything. He's more efficient scorer on a higher usage rate, better mid-range and free throw shooter, better post scorer, has a 3-point range...

LINK

PPP on post-ups:
Markieff 0.94 (354 plays)
Monroe 0.81 (435 plays)
Vucevic 0.84 (256 plays)
Love 0.93 (427 plays)

PPP on PNR:
Markieff 1.2 (117 plays)
Monroe 0.91 (160 plays)
Vucevic 0.85 (202 plays)
Love 1.12 (177 plays)

FG% from 10-23 ft:
Markieff .460 (156/339)
Monroe .234 (22/94)
Vucevic .431 (112/260)
Love .382 (122/319)

Well, that's surprising. He's better than I thought.

What about Marcus? Can they play together or are they both strictly PFs?

Frye + Marcus Morris for Pek? PHO say no if we ask Markieff. But there is no place for Marcus behind Markieff. So PHO don't need him. It just one year rental, but it will enhance our bench so much

Brewer/Budinger/Shabazz

Marcus is a tweener forward with a better 3-point shot, Markieff can play some C in the Suns system (he has about the same size as Love).
