7. Stephen Curry
8. Blake Griffin
9. James Harden(best shooting guard in the league now)
10. Dwight Howard

Pretty good list. Here's mine:

1./2. Lebron and Durant
3. Paul
4. Anthony Davis
5. Kevin Love
6. Blake Griffin
7. Paul George
8. Stephen Curry
9. James Harden
10.Joakim Noah

I'm actually a little surprised to see you put Love ahead of Griffin. :D I do like your list, though. I'd probably put Noah one or two spots higher but otherwise, I agree.

How can anyone compare the easier path to the playoffs that KG had with the dog fight it now takes in the West just to MAKE the playoffs? This guy blasting Love is delusional. It isn't Kevin's fault that our starters routinely have leads in games that the bench then comes in and LOSES on a consistent basis.

Love may not be that rare supertsar that can win you games in the last two minutes of games but no one would even be questioning him if he was on a great team. He would be getting his numbers and have 50+ win seasons and nobody would be saying anything about empty stats. He's just a great player on a bad team. End of story, numbers don't lie. They can be inflated but you can inflate 25+ point 13+ rebound nights just because you are n a bad team.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

That may be the most depressing thing I've ever watched.

It wasn't much easier when KG was here. The Wolves were winning 50 games every year and were still the 6-7-8 seed. The West has been deeper than the East for a long time.

Arg, this topic about top ten players, even with the troll feeding conundrum, I must say that Marc Gasol should be there.
The list I like the most is from Krapinsky. But dropping Curry and putting Marc in 10th.
Something like this.
1./2. Lebron and Durant
3. C. Paul
4. Anthony Davis
5. Kevin Love
6. Blake Griffin
7. Paul George
8. James Harden
9. 10 Joakim Noah and Marc Gasol

You might want to check your memory. During the KG playoffs years, the best team to miss the playoffs was 45-37.

Current 9th seed Dallas is 43-29.

That doesn't contradict what I said.
