My main criteria I guess you could call it for a coach would be as follows.
1. Is more than just his system - meaning he would need to be able to adapt to Rubio and our personnel rather than try to force his system or style of basketball on the team. Put the players to their strengths and give us the best chance to win.
2. Understands that in a small / medium market team we have to develop players, especially our rookies.
3. Someone who doesn't favor "his guys" at the cost of a better player when it comes to minutes.
4. Puts at least some emphasis on the defensive side of the ball. Our team is full of 1 dimensional guys now mostly because they fit in adelman's system.
5. Good teacher and motivator with passion enough to put some fire into his team and killer instinct.
6. high basketball IQ / X's and O's - obviously this is pretty much standard and anyone that would qualify for an NBA job probably has it.
