Any local Minnesota news on Peks ankles? In the Serbian press about a month ago he was still saying they were giving him trouble

Horford/Pekovic on East is like insta 4th seed to me. And a good sallary dump, but Millsap contract is out next season, but a season of MillsapDieng can be really rewarding.
If that stuff about Pek's ankles is true I'd ship his ass for Millsap without blinking, I'd even throw shabazz in there if hawks want more.

If true, then easier said in done. Still has to pass a physical. Atlanta isn't going to want to trade their second best player for an injured guy.

Hey guys, Bucks fan here but found this today while reading about NBA related stuff and thought T-Wolves fans would be interested.

I hope you get Wiggins. Him and Levine w/ Rubio Pek Bazz and Dieng would be right there with my Bucks as a team to be reckoned with in two years.

I feel like the guy was trying too hard to crap on the Wolves. But I suppose thats the intention of his article.
I'm glad he actually talked about the city itself, which is an awesome place. The Twin Cities get so much crap as if its a Cleveland or Detroit, but its one of the nicer and more progressive metro areas in the country. The only people who talk bad about Minneapolis are the ones who have never been here.
And yes I'm very excited about our future. We would have one of the most promising young teams in the league with high potential talent at every position. Bucks still have some work to do.. but if they can get Mudiay next year then sky is the limit for them.

if it isn't true and he now has the strongest ankles in the world, i'd ship his ass for Millsap without blinking

Milsap is unrestricted after this coming season so I'd be targeting someone else.

therefore we need Millsap. if we get Bennett and he doesn't develop we will be able to give Millsap new contract. if Millsap asks more than 10 mil/yr and Bennett fails, we can find another player to compliment Dieng. But Millsap is very underrated: he is perfect fit next to Dieng, Rubio he is surprisingly good from long range, mid range, good rebounder, good defender, passer, isn't injury prone.

I was just referring to the fact that he will have his pick of teams in a year and would imo be very likely to leave to a contender as we will probably be in a development/rebuild phase for a couple of years.

If you are using progressive for describing far left or socialist policy, you might also think that some may not like it as well. Policy is not zero sum game and you are not going to please everyone. I hate Mlps, I can deal with it from time to time, but the pan-handling is out of control, bikes on busy streets, poor infrastructure in most non-affluent areas, poor schools and so on. Minnesota in a general sense is an okay state, summers can be great, but taxes are too high, winters are cold and that might just be enough for some to not like the state at all. And I live here. It is personal preference, what you like to do? What personality you have? What age you are? What background you have? on and on...
Just like I like the state of Texas, there will be some who hate it.

Fixed. You hate big cities, not Minneapolis.

Had a dream last night that we signed a white shooter who used to play for the Cavs...I think it was Luke Jackson.

Re: The Offseason Thread
The Chicago Bulls acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves the 23rd pick (Nikola Mirotic, Montenegro) of the 2011 NBA Draft. In exchange, the Bulls conveyed the 28th pick (Norris Cole, Cleveland State) and 43rd pick (Malcolm Lee, UCLA) of the Draft, as well as cash. Minnesota had acquired the 23rd pick from the Houston Rockets in an earlier Draft-related trade.
This happened in 2011, and obvious hindsight equates to, "WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY KAHNNNN!"
We just wanted to save money. How insane would it be to actually have Mirotic at this juncture? (and of course post Love Trade) He would be the absolute best fit possible.
