Brittney Griner is like that made up 2k player that's over 7 ft tall with 99 overall. Unstoppable inside.

Bunch of ticky tack fouls being called on us. PHX can play physical but when the Lynx put their hands up, they call foul. Just want some consistency.

Every time Griner goes to the bench it's like Christmas day inside the paint if you are Minnesota.

This one looks over. Turasi is killing us and Mercury playing way more aggressive defense. They look hungrier.

P.S. drafting Devereaux Peters instead of Glory Johnson was a huge fail

whoops
When I was discussing the Lynx' roster with Petersen, he used and quoted advanced stats with ease. He talked about rebounding rate as one of the factors in the selection of Devereaux Peters over Glory Johnson

How the hell do you pass up on a player named Glory? In general, the more exotic the name the better the player but they forgot one important rule, if the name has a meaning to it that resembles greatness or grandeur, that trumps everything. Example, there is a kid named Rayzon Cantrell, they should be high on your draft list and if their stats are similar to the Tom's, Blake's (Griffin is an outlier), and Stan's of the draft, you take Rayzon easy. However if there is another player in that pool named Epic Lee. You have to take Epic Lee. Epic is in his damn name. He was born to be something great. There are very few common names you can draft with confidence. Kevin is one of them.

plus she could've guarded Griner and since Griner is the top in their relationship, she wouldn't have gone beast-mode on her because it'd be like spousal abuse

and the name thing is totally true - Bill Barnwell wrote a whole story about how Andrew Luck has an unprecedented number of wins in 1 touchdown or less games. Andrew LUCK. Vikings take Christian PONDER, and does he make quick decisive decisions? No he does not.

At the very least it would have created a moral dilemma which we could have exploited to our advantage. Every great strategician knows that where there is love you exploit and mold it to your benefit.

I would look into a Whalen and a 1st for Dieng swap. Makes sense for both teams
