Real talk: Is Kevin Love traded tonight?

Real simple question: forget all the endless speculation and rumor. Is Kevin Love traded tonight or is he not? You decide.

I voted yes because he absolutely should be traded, but I have a bad feeling that if the GS falls through, Flip will keep him instead of doing the smart thing and trading him to Boston or Denver.

Nope, even though I think the sooner the better.

Stauskas falls to #13, and we trade him along with Love and Martin for Lee, Klay and Barnes. Book it and **** it.

The only reason I hope he is traded is so the constant regurgitated crap I have to read here daily can finally stop.

If this happens, it'll be the final strike. I'd chunk up the deuces to this franchise.

I think GS and Minny are either sitting on a deal or just arguing over the last bit of Bs before completing the deal. Both sides have used every posturing tactic in the book and sometime today it will be time to lay the cards on the table and get it done

I voted "No" just to be official with my own vote in my own poll. I also would like this situation to be over with but I think Flip feels he can make a better deal after the draft.

Agreed. Probably waiting till after the draft so the 2015 pick can be included.

I think waiting till after the draft to make a trade is smart. Draft picks are almost always overrated, especially on draft day. After some teams see what they have drafted they are usually more willing to move veterans.

I think the only thing they could do that would really make me go ballistic is holding onto him.

You think he should be traded tonight? Draft day is when draft picks values are inflated the most, and a few teams destined for disappointment will have visions of LeBron and Melo dancing in their heads. As Flip has pointed out, when was the last time a star was traded on or before draft day?

It seems more prudent to let some FA dust settle. That doesn't take players just drafted off the table (see the Dwight trade), might make a couple suitors more aggressive (most of the offers out there now don't leave me feeling overly whelmed), and might open up a couple suitors who might not be apparent now.

Waiting would also provide the hidden benefit of being able to acquire somebody Ainge drafted at #6 or #17 as opposed to somebody Flip and company tabbed.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Absolutely. If he's not, then several teams in the running (Boston, especially) will be out. Less competition is only a bad thing for us.
