No. It's his right to go wherever he wants AS LONG AS THAT TEAM HAS CAP SPACE. That's a MASSIVE factor that you're ignoring.

You're absolutely correct, fortunately, there are other players in the league the Cavs could try to trade for besides Kevin Love and there are always teams looking to dump salary. Or we can just keep our young talent. *shivers*

Yeah, see how long the honeymoon period with Lebron lasts if they keep their "young talent" around him and they don't develop fast.

Definitely hurts the argument that Love will just walk away from whichever team he's traded to.

Also, to those saying "Love can just walk for nothing".

You must also think $27 million extra dollars is nothing. If Love leaves next offseason, you better believe it's via S&T.

The only way the Wolves get nothing for Love is if he retires before next season.

It's really incredible that a team that's drafted Tristan Thompson, Anthony Bennett, and Tyler Zeller the last few years is just assuming that their draft pick this year will definitely turn into a stud.

And I could include Waiters in there, too, but I won't since he's actually been decent-ish.

About as long as the honeymoon would last if Love goes back to losing big chunks of seasons due to injury and the Cavs don't have anybody left on the roster that can step-in for him?

Terrence Jones + Capela + NO pick is also a better package than what the Cavs can offer without Wiggins. It's garbage too, but a better garbage.

How about a deal with Houston? Big market for Love. Not sure what they could offer?
