Thad is a great dude and will be a fan favorite.

That being said, he is 100% gonna opt out barring injury or something weird. Not because of anything to do with Minny or winning or something but because he's a good player and can lock down another solid long term deal.

Don`t you think Min will offer him this long term deal if he plays good/fits ?

Could be just one of those deals where the opt-out is a formality, and that he plans to re-sign in MN. Just a $ thing.

Nah. I think if the Wolves have a "promising" (not necessarily "good" season) that he'll stay. He had 7 long years in PHI, dealt with tanking - mentioned in a couple ways how he appreciates coming somewhere that at least wants to win, and has loved the reception.

All I said was that he's opting out of his current contract. If Minny puts in the highest bid for him next summer I'm sure they would have a very good chance of bringing him back.

I think we did a good job of making the new guys feel welcome. From the GM handing out hats at the airport to the building top interview to the fair. They did a great job.

Ofc they will start him. He is the 2nd higher payed player on their roster. 1st is Richardson
