Isn't that crazy?!?

I suspect with our new high octane offense, we'll see some impromptu rescheduling in our favor!

Apparently the NBA cares more about **** teams like LAL instead of exciting teams like Minn will be with Wiggins, Rubio, and LaVine.

I for one can't wait til you guys come to CLE, that will be a great game to see!

Looking like I'll be at 4 games this year as of now:

@ LAC 12/1
@ CLE 12/23
@ IND 1/13
vs CLE 1/31

One problem with this line of thinking is the time zone factor. When TNT and ESPN do doubleheaders, they need a second game. There are only five teams in the Pacific time zone and only three more in the Mountain time zone to pick from for those late games, because very rarely will the NBA schedule a game to start at 9:30 p.m. local time. That means that the crappy teams out west will get air time. While most of the West coast games will be Warriors, Clippers or Blazers, the Lakers still have enough of a following to give them games.

In Minnesota, we are battling against eight other teams in the Central time zone and 13 teams in the Eastern time zone for those early slots on national TV. It's understandable why we're further down the totem pole, even though it may seem on the surface like we have an exciting team. Two games on ESPN seems about what I expected for this season.

My win estimates are low for mainly three reasons.

1. We are in the west. I think mos teams have gotten a little better. Young teams have more experience.

2. We are very young. We will have rookie and Sophomores getting big minutes. Generally that means some big stretches of bad basketball.

3. We are the wolves. Something always goes wrong, we have no stars, I'm not convinced Rubio will be much improved. Mediocre shooters.

I wonder how many games wont be televised this year.

This year was probably our best shot if we still had Love to get one. Now I thnk we are a ways away. TNT only gives games almost exclusively to playoff teams. They are super picky with that. ESPN provides more variety. I dont even consider NBA TV a national game even though it technically is. ESPN, TNT, and ABC have a lot more prestige and audience.

At least love will be all over national tv.

Nor do I, since they don't have their own announcing crew. They just leach off the home team's broadcast feed.

When's the last time we were on ABC on Sunday afternoon?

Wiggins and Dieng will get minutes, but I think they're both capable enough of filling their expected roles. I think the question is for Lavine and Bennett. Are they capable backups at this point, and will they get developmental minutes even if they're not?

March 30, 2003: Dallas at Minnesota
March 13, 2005: Dallas at Minnesota

02-03 was first year of NBA on ABC

I didn't check any farther, but I'm assuming that was the last time

Our ABC drought is almost as big as our playoff drought.

We are going to reach the playoffs (Heard it here first)

Ps: I truly believe that.

People said the same thing before last season. We need positive fans, but anyone that's supported the Wolves since the start of the post-KG era has every reason to be pessimistic. lol

CLE supposed to play the opening game at SA. CLE to start with a loss? No way, let's change the schedule.
CHI starts season at NY.
CLE starts season at home vs NY with NY playing the 2nd game of the b2b. Sure win!!!
Let's give Lebron and his minions an easy start.

CHI vs CLE at CHI ... GOGO BULLS!!!!!

ESPN's forecast projects us to win 26 games and be tied with the Jazz for last place in the West. Yikes!

I live in Little Rock, which is about an hour and a half from Memphis. I'll be getting my tickets ASAP. Pretty stoked as the opportunities to catch the Wolves live aren't exactly plentiful.
