If Nugs would rather build in the same fashion as current with multiple players and depth. We could offer at trade deadline:

Thad, with promise of picking up Player Option (does anyone really expect him to decline?, he'll not get 9 million again)
Kevin Martin (contract close to being over, plus him and Gillinari spreading floor with Lawson would be tough to guard.)
Shabazz Muhammad (perfect player for Nuggets)
1st rounder

For

Kenneth Faried (resigned 4 yrs 50 million)

This is likely an overpay from Minny, because this gives Nuggets a TON of flexibility and Bazz will likely be a perfect fit and develop into a starter/6th man for them. But our roster will be balanced and awesome!

Rubio/LaVine?
Lavine/Brewer/Budinger
Wiggins/Brewer/Budinger/GR3
Faried/Dieng
Pek/Dieng

In this 2015 line-up our big men are all playing 30-35 minutes (pek 29-31, KFar 33-35, Dieng 32-34). Brewer is picking up a 30 minutes a game as a great 6th man who knows his role, or flexible to start Brewer in the Sefalosha role with LaVine in the Jamaal Crawford role. Dunno if LaVine will be good enough to play back-up point, but here is hoping. We'd be a coupe years of development/continuity away from contending for a ring w/ this line-up IMO. A lot better than us trying to sign Bledsoe (barf).

Denver obviously would have to decide they are not ready to contend to do this trade, but I really think Bazz would be a great fit. They could try-out Thad and Martin in their system and resign them or find a better fit with massive cap space potential. W Lawson locked up, good center depth, Gillinari coming back, they have a good core (Thad might be a great fit for a lot cheaper than Faried). Honestly looking at Denver's salary info it looks like they are trying to have maximum space in 2016-17 season as only Lawson and rookies on cap.

Lawson/
Martin/Affalo
Gillinari/Chandler/Bazz
Thad/Bazz
McGee/Mozgov

If wolves didnt sign thad, it wouldnt even be difficult to sign him straight up. He is going to cack block a lot of opportunities if he doesnt opt out. Maybe Bennett for expiring contracts and a pick would be smart if flip doesnt think hes an important piece.

This upcoming offseason is going to be deciding years to come. Whether or not they are on the roster already, the starting PG and PF of the future will be chosen.

I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.

Butler removing rearview mirror in his car as a symbol to never look back

we are not looking to trade Dieng. Mahimi is a certified bench player and we will be lucky to hit another Dieng with a non lotto pick. So why bother?

I'd do almost anything to get rid of Barea and have never liked Brewer (as a player..he's a fine human being otherwise). That said I wouldn't touch this trade.

i saw this trade idea now that KD is injured.
OKC gets a guy who can start for Durant while he is out, then move to the bench when Durant is healthy.

OKC gets Barea, Brewer, and Turiaf

Minnesota gets Jones III, Perkins, and a top 20 protected 1st round pick.

Maybe if was Budinger instead of Brewer, that would be better (for us).

What you think ?

This trade doesn't accomplish anything but kill team chemistry. Brewer and Turiaf are high character vets that are important to keep around our young guys.
