How long do we have to keep looking at a shirtless Shabazz?

I wonder why nobody points out that it looks like he's wearing shorts made out of a garbage bag

Just out of curiosity, did he pass his rookie program this time round? Pretty sure he had to repeat it, because he couldn't keep it in his pants last year?

I'm surprised there was no mention of it over the summer...

It isn't a pass/fail program. He had to attend because of what happened the first time, and yes he was there. In this case, I'd say that no news is good news.

I think having Wiggins will be a plus for him. I really hope he loses the sense of desperation he has been playing with and settles into the system. If he keeps trying too hard to prove he is a force I see a lot of bench time in his future. He seems smart enough to learn quickly that the more he shares the ball the more he will play.

He's still a bit of a ball hog.

Bazz still sucks. I like his effort and rebounding, but everything else is straight garbo. I hope GR3 takes his minutes.

Shabazz will be odd man out. Not good enough shooter. Not explosive enough to take advantage of his muscle at SF. Not quick enough to truly make his own shoot. He will keep forcing shoots as that and rebounding is all he has. I like the guy but I just don't see him doing more then MAYBE topping out as a guy who scores 6-7 off the bench and he is not there yet and playing him may stunt guys like GR3 who could be better eventually.

I still believe in Shabazz! He will earn that play time!

And in case for actual news reporting, when do you ever read about athletes, celebrities etc. doing something they were supposed to do? They only get in the news if it's a feel-good-story or if they screw up big time.

Just thought I'd share this

http://youtu.be/xNNca8oT6iE

Basically the only game he got enough minutes to really do anything .

Pretty much. Hustle is there but the deficit in fundamentals will be hard to overcome for him. Plus a tweener...PF born in a SG/SF body.

Shot selection is chaotic although he seems to hit more of the difficult shots than of the open shots.
Shot form is terrible (the FT mechanics look worse than mine and I've never played organized basketball)
Feels like (by NBA standards) he isn't particularly athletic either.

I'll go that far and say if he was a 2nd round pick he wouldn't be in the league by now.

Hoping to see some more of GR3 in the next games. I believe he already is a better player than Shabazz.

Looks like the spray-painted six-pack abs Shaq unveiled during his weight loss challenge on TNT vs. Barkley

if he can play the 2,he'll get minutes. As long as Brewer is here he will be a 3rd stringer unfortunately
