This should be correct one, but Bazz is no SG

I'm a bit worried about our SG position, since Brewer, Wiggins, Bazz and Budinger are better fit at SF. One workaround can be playing Mo Will at SG for some limited minutes, but LaVine isn't ready, Barea is gone and Heislip cut we have to fill 3rd PG role as well.

Didnt Brewer had better stats at the SG position? and Budinger+Bazz at wings played decent

I don't see how Flip plays 11

Rubio, Martin, Brewer, Thad, Pek start game 1 and Mo, Wiggins, Bennett and either Bud/Bazz and Dieng come off the bench

Well... Brewer, Bazz, Budinger are ok for short assignment at SG, but generally we lack shot creator with good ball handling skills. It' is not coincidence that Mo Will shined in preseason as he often was only player on the floor who could create his own shot.

You don't need to have your SG be a great ballhandler. It's nice to have, but those guys will do fine at SG without elite ballhandling skills. After all, people freak out any time the ball is out of Ricky's hands for more than five seconds, so why is it so important to have ballhandlers.

The rotation will change on a nightly basis, depending on the opponent, injuries, shooting streaks, etc.

Budinger might play 20 minutes one night and 5 the next. Same goes for Brewer, LaVine and Muhammad.

I believe that it is not about SG position itself. Because we don't have reliable ball handler at SF as well. In the pick and roll age we have only Rubio and Mo Will who can use pick and roll to create shot opportunities...
It sad to see that Kevin Martin fails to start dribling without travelling. It sad to see that Budinger can only drive straight lines. It sad to see Shabazz in fastbreak running in opponent body rather then executing eurostep.

That's why I'm happy to see improvements in RR game. for example vs CHI he showed crafty mid range game, hesitation move, ball fake, head fake, he shifted gears, earned FT.

I think that we will see a lot of Mo-Will + RR combo in the clutch.

We cant send Shabazz down to the D-League anymore, this team doesn't need to be sued over molestation chargers. He's on the National D-league Offender list for what he did last year and the families down there are still suffering.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

I think It goes like this

Rubio/Mo
Martin/Wiggins/Bazz
Wiggins/Brewer/Budinger
Thad/Bennett
Pek/Dieng

I assume that Bazz will be like a 10 minute a game guy for now, with Wiggins playing a lot of SG, I know it may sound weird, but I think the Wolves need to put him in the position to be aggressive and score, putting him at the three allows him to be passive aggressive.

Wiggins will start. He's the best wing player we have already.

C - Pekovic/ Dieng/ (Turiaf)
PF- Young/ Bennett/ (Dieng)
SF- Wiggins/ Budinger/ (Shabazz)
SG- Martin/ Brewer/ (LaVine)
PG - Rubio/ Williams / (LaVine)

inactive = Hummel and GRIII

() = spot minutes, garbage time, matchup, or situational players.

Edit:

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Brewer and/or Budinger are shopped all year with the plan being that Shabazz and LaVine takeover the backup SF and SG spots (respectively) later in the year.

I didn't make a big deal or say you weren't allowed to do it. I just pointed out that I thought it was funny that someone with a RealGM name the same as their blog used "by the way" to slide in the blog link in their first post.

This should be correct one, but Bazz is no SG

And Lavine is no PG. Slide those two up and I think it's perfect. You could maybe swap Bud and Brew too.
