Bennett looked pretty good last night. I was worried his hot start was a fluke, but it seems now that his knee is feeling better, his shot looks really good.

It was nice to see GR3 be productive in the few minutes he got at the end. I think he could actually produce in the rotation if given Bud's minutes. He always looks poised when he gets in a game.

The positive side is simple. We have a crap load of young talent, our vets are injured, and we're going to have plenty of minutes to develop them before Rubio comes back to help us win games. Which means another very good draft pick, and Flip has done a good job with those picks so far.

Next year we'll have cap space and a pack of young wolves still on their rookie contract to build a winning team with. Who knows who we'll sign then. I think it rather depends on how players develop. With Wiggins and Shabaz we can sell Brewer and give away Bud and use that cap on another medium-high caliber player.

It's going in the right direction, and the loses don't mean jack right now. By mid-season we'll be winning more and next year we ought to be a playoff contender.

It will be nice to have Thad come back and hopefully within a month start to see Rubio and Pek back in the lineup.

I think it may work out well development wise. It's tough to have young guys playing tons of minutes and getting blown out most nights for an entire season. Getting them this sort of playing time early and then having the vets come back should be a good balance, since they will have developed some and be able to help the team compete more when their best players are back.

Thad is back!

Should be more competitive just with him playing.

I can't wait for these guys to play with Ricky again.

I'm sure they can't either!

Pretty sad that the only reason I watch is to see what Andrew Wiggins improves on next...

I am thankful that we got 2 quality players, one who is an absolute class-act, and 1 potential superstar by trading an all-star, while awesome, played little D and had a terrible on court demeanor when things did not go his way.

I feel like we are finally going in the right direction. Obviously things could still go wrong, but Rubio, Wiggins and High draft pick is a good core to build around. I know it sucks to lose, but so long as we stay competitive and our young guys develop, losing actually helps us out in the long run.

The young guys are all completely and totally legit. Dieng, Bazz, Lavine, Bennett, Wiggins - even Rubio's still young - those are nice pieces going forward. A lot of basketball talent. Bennett looks great. That stroke is soaking wet. And so quick! Should be practicing his three ball. And Wiggins?!? Don't even!

Health (looking at you, Ricky) is the key, as is so often the case.

We'll get another top pick to add this year which is nice. Personally, I would let Thad walk. Don't think he's worth the dime with the team we're going to be going forward with.
