Two things I noticed from the Pekovic practice report uploaded on NBA.com/timberwolves, 1 - Pek has got a black eye.

2.... FRED HOIBERG is sitting in the stands in the back wearing lime green. HOIBERG COACH ORGASM INCOMING?

alrdy @ it

Rubio on KG's 1st practice: "he already yelled at Pek twice to get back on defense. I don't think Pek has been yelled at his entire career"

Rubio on KG yelling: "I don’t know how to do it yet. I’m too nice so I hope he teach me that bad side, that help team to improve.

bringing in the Mayor is the next logical step.

(and I'm not gonna complain about the countryclub anymore, promise)

WOW I'm so excited. If I use my imagination I can see this path:

1) Dieng emergence as capable backup C
2) Wiggins trade
3) Shabazz emergence as scorer
4) Wiggins emergence as star
5) LaVine dunk show
6) KG returns home
7) Payne emergence as rebounder and shot blocker
8) Bennet shows sings as rebounder and PnR player
9) We get Top3 draft pick and select BPA
10) New coach (Hoiberg???)
11) KG feels good and resigns (15mil/2yrs???)
12) Budinger opts out or get traded
13) Patrick Beverley signs with MIN
14) We turn into defensive minded team with new players and coach

Pek/Dieng/KG
KG/Payne/AB
Wiggins/Shabazz
Shabazz/Martin/LaVine
Rubio/Beverly/LoBron

I dont know well how much KG abilities remains useful but if there is something that he should be better than his prime is setting screens. Im sure he is light years better than any other 4 in our team and including Young. He will be of great help for the youngs get good moving off the ball.

I could be wrong but that didn't look like Hoiberg to me.

KG was great at setting screens in his prime. It's debatable whether they were legal, but they were effective.

They weren't legal, that's why they were so effective :)

i was about to say pics or it didn't happen. it just seemed weird that he'd draw all this attention to himself unnecessarily. he's pretty much got the head coaching job if he wants it. he wouldn't need to attend.

Me either. And you'd think the MN media would've tweeted something if it was him. There was nothing of the sort.

Plus Hoiberg is in the middle of his season. Zero percent chance it was him.

But it would be epic if the Wolves hired Fred as HC next year.

BTW, how stupid is it that all the new KG apparel on the store website ships in 3-6 weeks?

I have like 5 KG jerseys and a few T-shirts, but I want a new-era KG Wolves jersey or shirt. But not right now if it's gonna come in when the season's over. I'll wait for the price to come down on eBay or something.

I'd give ANYTHING to be at tonight's game. Ya'll better give the man a 10 minute standing ovation. If there was any way I could be there, I would. But I live in Texas, so not happening.

Highly unlikely Fred would be in Mpls with #19 Baylor coming to Ames today. But it was a morning practice.

I think Sid might be losing his hearing, and even his ability to spell...

My prediction: Garnett will play at least one more year and then might even be on the coaching staff in addition to being a part of the front office and ownership group.
