Who should be our 6th man next season ?
As it is right now, (before the draft, trades, signs)
I think there 3 (clear) + 1 possibilities.
Depending on who will start next season as SG or SF / with Wiggins.
If is Martin / Wiggins
The 6th man should be Shabazz or Lavine ?
If is Lavine / Wiggins
The 6th man should be Shabazz or Martin ?
If is Shabazz / Wiggins
The 6th man should be Lavine or Martin ?
+ 1 possibility = Bjelica, Many of you think that he can / should be coming off the bench.
Who you think should be the perfect 6th man ?
In some statements Flip said "I'm still fan as Bazz as a 6th man."
6th man definition:
The sixth man is good enough to be a starter, but the coach feels that by bringing him in later in the game, he can exploit match ups against the other team's second unit. The sixth man is often in the game during crunch time.
Or you think that having a 6th man (offical / unofficial) isn't that important and teams can have multiple options ?
(Sorry if there are errors in grammar)

I don't think it's that important. Minutes-wise I think it's LaVine. Mentality-wise, I think it's Muhammad.

I like the idea of having Martin as the 6th man with Wiggins at the 2 and Bazz at the 3.
Hopefully we can improve their 3 point range a bit in the offseason to make it work.

Re: Who should be our 6th man next season ?
Looking at how the clippers or raptors for example are built they typically have a scorer that can handle the ball and run the offense some. (Crawford, L. Williams) I can see lavine in that roll this year or next but I see us likely keeping martin and give lavine another year of development to see what he will amount too. (Star, starter, bench scorer?) If that's the case I can defiantly see martin or Bazz as the 6th man and I think they both should be. Martin because hes getting older and he can extend his career going up against second unite guys and bazz because his high energy would obliterate the other teams subs. This is exactly why I believe we should move on from one of the two and open a spot for a 3 and D guy who can start. (Danny Green)
This might sound silly but every time I play NBA 2k I seem to always be faced with a decision on who to have at the end of the game at the 2 guard spot. Usually whoever is having the better game ( between martin, lavine, bazz) problem is none of these guys are good defenders. So here is a question to everyone...for the next year if the wolves are actually up in a game in the fourth quarter and they need a reliable defender at the SG position to help seal the game, who do u put on??

I don't think thats how its determined. 6th is supposed to be a spark off the bench, thats why high volume scorers are usually 6th men. (Crawford, Williams, Smith, Thomas) It could be either LaVine or Bazz, but at the end of the day the volume scorer who is more efficient should get the spot.

I say you give Shabazz the 6th man role where he is basically the star off the bench, the guy with the green light and let Shabazamania run wild.

Offer Martin and the #34 pick to the Clippers for Reddick.
THen make Lavine/Muhammed the 6th/7th man depending on situation.
Rubio
Reddick
Wiggins

Martin if he stays on the team. Bazz if Martin is traded. I see Lavine starting next year, Bazz is such a great spark and change of pace off the bench with his tenacious rebounding and all out energy

Shabazz. If Pek is out, so Shabazz will be our best low post scorer. Wiggins likes to operate in mid range area as well. I think that our lineup will be something like Dieng-Bjelica-Wiggins-Martin-Rubio. With this unit Andrew will have plenty of opportunities to post up, while Shabazz can flourish against opponent bench players. He and Zach can firm good inside-outside combo from the bench.

Are you not drafting anyone top-4?

Yes. But I hope it will be Towns. In this case I'd give him time to adjust to NBA. At the beginning of the season he can be backup C, then gradually, if his body responds well, move to the starting lineup.

I don't think there's anyway I start Dieng over towns, Dieng looks like a career backup to me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it is what it is. The sooner Towns could work with Rubio / Wiggins the better imo.

It is a curious question when we haven't even had the draft yet.

There might be an epilogue.
