Re: FIBA Americas
Argentina just way tougher than Canada out there. A lot more nasty, Canada doesn't seem to have the heart yet to compete on this stage, they looked so lackadaisical in the 4th. No sense of urgency.

Wiggins,Bennett and Murray can make the difference.
Murray is only 19 but he is very very talented!
And do not forget Greece! Now we have Giannis!
Ok, we can not beat USA,Spain or Canada next year, but the other teams are not unbeatable. Eurobasket begins in a week and it will be interesting this year with many good teams.
Feel free to talk about the Greece team over on the Bucks board, we have a lovely group of Greece fans over there.

Re: FIBA Americas
As a Canadian that was disappointing on the following levels.
- first half lacked intensity like they were just trying to stay out of foul trouble.
- bigs weren't grabbing boards like they usually do ( besides Powell)
- frustrating to watch dirty (yet effective) basketball by scola and other players. Scola reminded me ginolbili is from there and that both of them I can stand because of how floppy they are and how any touch fouls they draw.
- Wiggins lost his handle on a play.
- 2nd half teased us this an agreessive start, 10 point deficit, and a come back to fall short.
- Bennett's box score is decent...it all game at the end of the game.
- Wiggins could have been more demanding
- Joseph did nothing tell the end and him among others won't pass it to wiggins in the post. ( don't they know how comfortable and effective he is there)
...now that I vented, the positive.
...... I still believe they will win the tournament.
I predict they don't lose anymore games.

Joseph doesn't pass the ball even from left hand to right hand. When he gets the ball he will take the shoot. And he misses.
This is not basketball..

That's kinda sad. I really hope it doesn't mean the same as LeBron's letter leaving out Wiggins.
I'm pretty sure it does. Although it probably depends somewhat on our trade options.
They did a similar article on Bennett a few days earlier so he hasn't been left out.

No mention of Wiggins?! I guess that means he's on the trading block...

It's already been made pretty clear Bennett is on the block. The only question is whether we'll get what we want in return.

Re: FIBA Americas
So Wiggins completely dominated the first quarter, had 10 points, a couple of rebounds, steal and assist and two AND-1s. I guess someone was in his ear about being more aggressive

Either that or someone was in his teammates' ears about getting him the ball.

Or they were playing Cuba instead of Argentina

Either way, nobody in this tournament can guard Wiggins, I think someone was in his ear about being more aggressive, a couple of his buckets in this first quarter were off offensive rebounds

Not terribly excited about Wiggins, Towns, and Dieng being gassed out from carrying their national teams in the summers.

Re: FIBA Americas
Towns isn't playing, is he?
Wiggins isn't playing heavy minutes like Dieng but they do have something like 10 games in 12 days. That's crazy. Dieng really had to carry his team but at least they are done playing now so he should have some time to rest.

Re: FIBA Americas
Mexican PG just buried a deep three with 25 seconds on the clock to give them a two point lead. Barea drives in for an open lay up and misses it lol. Classic wolves Barea clutch moment.

Wiggins destroying Uruguay. Monster Jam, another dunk, and then a smooth three.
