As a team, Wolves are worst in the NBA in pullup jumpers, but also 2nd worse in post ups. They take the second fewest catch and shoot jumpers in the NBA, but they aren't particularly good at those either - 5th worst.

The one thing they're kinda good at is drives to the rim - 10th in the NBA. But their 21.1 drives per game is 5th fewest in the NBA. The 24.5% pass percentage off a drive is also lowest in the NBA. Best in the NBA at drawing fouls on drives - 19.8%.

In a nutshell, it would seem like:
Kmart shouldn't touch the ball except on a catch and shoot 3. Wiggins kinda sucks at everything except driving to the rim. Towns is pretty decent at everything, but takes a **** ton of J's. Shabazz is a beast in the post (we knew that). Ricky isn't really any better shooting off the dribble than a stationary catch and shoot. Zach should take more 3s of the catch too.
As a team, the team needs to drive and kick more, not just drive.

Something that only Bjelica does all the time, and the results always look good. Our young guys only look to kick when they drive when they get in trouble while driving, and then the kick is always bad as they never read the defense preemptively, but rather react. It's something I blame on coaching, because that thing is easy to coach, but only if the coaches are capable of acknowledging that we need to improve on this, which they don't seem to be.

Only if you have capable players. Its about decision making as you move quickly through narrow space. Most of our guys cant do anything else when they focus on tieing their shoelaces.

Very good stuff, great work.

Wiggins' shooting numbers look really bad. Worse than expected. 32% FG and 27 %3P in catch&shoot situations is unacceptable for a volume scorer.

Another thing that stands out to me is the high number of attempts in pull-up jumpers, the least efficient shot in basketball. That screams bad coaching to me.
