Sam's quote from tonight. "Young players, they find a way to lose games."

Weird, i recall a stat that said zach averages 6000 pts per 100 posessions when the games is lost with1 minute left in the game.

So we are down 3 points, with 27 seconds left and no timeouts. We have Towns, Lavine, Rudez (who hold his own in the game, but is in the bench), and we go for a quick two.

Young players can be inexperienced... but if you coach draw a play at some point of the season and makes them repeat, you would hope they execute and at least make the attemp.

What we were hoping? That Kobe miss his clutch FT's? Insane.

He is such a clown. As if the Lakers team wasn't equally young.

Wow. Can't say I have seen him say that but if it's true somebody should call him out already.

Yeah, the loss sucks.

But the mamba was being mamba. Most of his made shots, there was a hand in his face. I think he got up for this game because the challenge that wiggs presented.

Lakers went to kobe every play the last 7 minutes. We went to wiggs a couple of times and the rest to lavine. Experience won out. The refs blowing that call didn't help.

Come on. He gets rolled out in his wheelchair. He is as good as the opponent allows him to be. When do we stop making up excuses...i dont even think Kobe was decisive in this game. These guys tried hard to lose while we tried to win. Sounds absurd but its probably the truth.

Injured still is probably more accurate. He mentioned the other day he couldn't get any lift because of the pain. I suspect this is his life from here on out. The surgery was a last ditch effort.

If Wiggins could just be our Kobe. He has the heart some nights, others he just doesn't. He needs to be able to tick constantly.

He doesn't have the skills yet, not by a long shot

He just doesn't have the handles or motor. He's got everything else.

Shooting - NO
Finishing Ability - NO
Defense - NO
Passing - NO
Rebounding - NO
Steals - NO
Vision - NO
Clutch Plays - NO

Comparing a 20 year old to a top 10 player in the history of NBA is unrealistic and unfair. If you think what separate Wiggins and Kobe are handles and motor, I don't agree with that.

Not the handles, not the motor, not the talent (Wiggins is very talented, Kobe is a top-15 player all time) and not the insane mindset, the fundamentals and the profound knowledge of the game.

Wiggins will never Kobe. But he doesn't need to, either. The kid can still be pretty good being his own.

I also don't think its fair to compare Wiggins to anyone but 20 year old Kobe.

In which regard he stacks up:

38.2 .468 .319 .821 6.3 4.9 1.6 .9 22.5 -- Kobe 4th year
35.2 .445 .239 .735 3.8 1.8 0.6 0.8 2.2 2.2 20.6 -- Wiggins 2nd year

He's on track to match those numbers next year.

Keep in mind Kobe had a prime Shaq to draw away defenders in the beginning. Not to mention one of the best coaches of all time.

He can do it.

They need to play everyone at their natural position. Levine is a SG, Wiggins is a SF, Towns is a C in the modern NBA.

Stop playing Pek and Prince stupid amounts of minutes. Trade Martin for anything.

Let them run. Fire the coach and hire a real one.

What a damn waste of an entire year. Lose but at least help the young guys. If you're bad and lucky enough to make Simmons then great...
