He will be an important factor for us during the season!

How about Cole preseason guys?

Both Rush and Aldrich have been outstanding so far. It looks like we stole both of them with their below market value contracts.

Good news is Wiggins, LaVine, Towns and Tyus all had their options picked up for next year.

More good news Payne did not.

Projections of wins in the low to mid 30's? Would be a massive disappointment if the season turned out like that. I don't think those advanced metric projections can accurately capture or project such young players progression and the impact of Thibs.

most advanced projections have Wolves in the mid to low 30's, except for 538, which has Wolves at 46. im banking in thibs! boost

I really hope we get rid of Payne and pick up Hunter, Selden or even Jenkins if he becomes available today.

It seems that Tyus is out of favor and I wish they'd give him a legit shot. I think he could be an excellent backup PG in time.

I think GP2 is available and I would take him over Tyus and Lucas.

Looking at the guys that got waived the one that seems like he might be worth a look is Alonzo Gee. He is fairly similar to Shumpert (who the Wolves were rumored to have interest in) in that he's a defensive wing with sketchy shooting. The nice thing is that his contract is only for 1 year at $1.4M vs Shumpert who has 2 years (plus a player option for a 3rd year) at around $10M a year.

Mitch Mcgary is apparently getting waived by Thunder, I'd love to get rid of Payne and pick him up. Very high skill level and strong as an ox. Would be good to have as depth and to see what he can do in practice with Thibs. If he can stay away from the gunja and his back isn't chronic I think he could be good.

Mitch has some mental issues, he'll probably end up playing somewhere in Asia.

you guys think Bjelica could be a deep fantasy sleeper?
