At least Tyus has shown some usefulness as a pure point and shooting 3s. Dunn has no NBA caliber skills, just a good athlete.

True story lol

Wasn't that you? I think it was someone from our international committee.

Nope.

No.

Of all players I've seen, I think Dunn more than anybody needs an offseason to work on his deficiencies now that he's seen the NBA. At absolute worst he'll be a backup PG in this league. He can defend, he can rebound, he's shown he can make some slick passes. He cannot shoot, he struggles to score within a system, he is turnover prone as he makes some bad driving decisions, and he fouls in some instances where he shouldn't.

I think Dunn will figure it out and become a starter next year. Time will tell, but I'd put good money on him having a superior career to Wes Johnson.

It might just be that we aren't going to show much improvement this year due to poor bench production (not going away unless Rush/Bjelli/Bazz start playing two levels above where they are now, the other guys aren't going to score) and relying on three 21 year olds.

It's frustrating to an extent, but perhaps it's just too high of expectations more than anything.

The problem is this team was close to a 500 team the last 7 weeks, last year, with NO bench!. We're going backward. Plus, we had all off season to fill out our roster. Unbelievable!

Gortat 9-9...our defense was horrible tonight. Wiggins had a nice game, but took the dumbest shot in crunch time you can think about.

Really liked Wall. I would love to have such a dominant point guard on our team. He shares the ball perfectly and takes over in terms of scoring when he has to.

Dieng shouldn't be on the floor late in games or starting.

Honestly, I like Dieng, but he's really feeling like a bench guy to me at this point. I'd like us to find an athletic, long, rim defending center and put KAT at the 4 in the off season. Dieng can be a nice piece offensively off the bench--he can be in or out of the game late depending on the match ups.

This team needs another lottery pick ( it's for the best in the long run especially in a talented draft like 2017)
hoping for Lonzo Ball or Josh Jackson in wolves uniform come November

You could say Rubio's 4 miserable points cost us the game. John wall had 18 pts 18 asts!! Rubio paled by comparison 4 pts 7 asts. Quite a mis-matchup.

Wasn't only Dieng bad on D. All of the 3pts from WSH (12-22) came from late rotations from Zach and Wiggins.

For sure.
If we played just average defense we'd have 10 more wins this year. The Wiz shot over 50% from the field and from 3.

But what about his advanced stats?

eff advanced stats. Certain things are a no-brainer. You don't need advanced stats for that.

I wonder if Porter is being crucified by Wizards fans for being outscored 24 points by Wiggins? That's quite a hole to dug out of.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
