Offensively, there just isn't a pecking order with Kat,lavine, and Wiggins. Instead of working together, they just take turns. Last night, thibs wanted to get Zach going early, so Wiggins wasn't involved..
Maybe we watched a different game. Zach was 2/3 in first quarter with one shot of offensive rebound. Drew and Ricky were 0-4 at one time (end of first?). So it might have been the other way around .
Wiggy barely touched the ball to start the game (first shot at the 7 minute mark) and we maybe ran 1 or 2 pnrs. Rubio is trying to be a scorer when he should be the guy orchestrating.
Wiggy was bad and was probably the main reason we lost. We are not going to win when he is bad.
Rubio is trying to establish himself as a threat so that he draws some defense in the future, I'm sure he's not trying to score more because he's suddenly turned on by scoring. I find what he's attempting to be very good for us.
And that mantra that we are going to win only when Wiggins plays well is just that, a mantra, and I haven't seen a single post with solid evidence that would make it a theory. Wiggins playing well has around as much impact on a win as Lavine or KAT playing well.
