Lets not get too carried away with Rubio as he only had 2 pts in the 2nd half. Towns had 4, Bjelly 2, Bazz 3. Most of our guys couldn't make a shot in the 2nd half. Ricky had a great game overall though. It's tough going through those dry spells.

You're right, but that is because for some reason (not only in this game) the strategy always change at half. We start to look way more for Wiggins to iniciate the offense. I still don't get it why that happends. Especially, when we look soo good in 99% of the first half's.

Well, I didn't say he held the team together by scoring. He was on point with everything, and he even drew the foul after those confidence killing plays from Towns and Wiggins.

I'm guessing at this point if Thibs tied to trade Ricky there would be rioting in the streets, right?

Wolves with wins over Utah, Clippers and Warriors, with an OT loss to Spurs in March. It comes in roaring like a lion. Lets hope we don't leave March with a whimper.

This is the best Wolves streak I can remember in 13 years.

Yes. But given the choice. I like the way we are playing right now.

Kat in the post, wiggs attacking the rim, and Ricky orchestrating as our offense while we play suffocating defense.

I love the way we are playing right now. I wouldn't trade that for a couple of more made 3's.

nor would I. I am not asking us to change how we play, we are getting three's in this offense we just cant hit them. Bjelly missed 3 or 4 today. Rush bricked a couple, Bazz a couple. We need to start getting those points. NBA offenses are too potent for us to be leaving all those points on the table. That's really the only major flaw I think we have right now with our current play. We bring defense, we bring good offense, but we need that 3 point punch. It would make a big difference in a game like tonight. Same looks, just make more of them. Just two of those big back breaking three's could have changed the whole complexion of the game.

It would help if Bjelly could make a 3 when it counts. He went totally cold in the 2nd half. Apparently he makes them all in practice.

Like a lot of other things, hopefully it eventually comes around. We get Bjelly, Rush to hit more threes. Get Bazz to get some of that stroke back, we are in good shape.

Yeah Ricky looked tired in the 2nd half and somehow gave up to Towns and Wiggings at building the offense, with obvious consequences. But this only highlights his importance for the team.

If the Warriors are the best team in the league, and Wolves just beat the Warriors, doesn't that make the Wolves the best team? :dontknow:

No, that's true he did hold it together to a degree. It just sounded like super exuberant praise for only holding it together. Great win.

You're right. He had 10 and 9 at the half. I though he had 13. Maybe I should go kill a few more brain cells. :D

Oh he will do it. And I absolutely understand it. Their core players are gassed and need a break. They've been on an insane road trip.
