Teammates separated point guards Sebastian Telfair and Marko Jaric during an altercation late in Thursday's practice. The incident was defused before heated words became anything more than that on a team that is 4-27 and has lost six consecutive games.

"Feisty today," Wittman said. "As long as we leave it here [on the practice floor], and we've never had a problem with it going anywhere else. It was what it was. I like to see teammates take control of that situation."

Marko would probably win because he's much bigger than Bassy, but I still think he's a sissy. I want to know what the fight was about. Something one of them said or sheer competition for minutes?

It must be difficult for the guys out there to handle. They're probably so frustrated at becoming one of the worst teams in league history.

That doesn't give them an excuse to take swings, though. They're professionals and should act as such.

The article doesnt say anything about 'swings.'

I like this though. It shows that both of these guys are still motivated and give a **** about what they are doing.

During the Portland game, they talked about something similar happening with the Blazers - they then lost a close one to SA before rattling off 10+ straight wins. Not that the Wolves are capable of that, but a win would be nice.

During his interview on KFAN Thursday at 2:30 PM, Wittman was asked whether the team was down after the disappointing showing against POR. He was frustrated with the POR game, but he was pretty happy with the practice, where he said guys were "getting after each other," and he seemed happy that they were being competitive after the loss.

Personally, I think this is a good sign.

Jaric is notorious for handling his frustrations with lack of playing time poorly, yet another example...

If the coach was happy about it, I am too. I want to see some fight in those guys

I'm gonna go ahead and guess that Bassy hit on Lima.
