^^^^ Likewise if we could get the 5th pick without giving the third sign me up and take what you want.

I'll stop watching the Wolves if we take Bayless.

I'm a reasonable guy, what can I say?

Also, if Walker, CDR or Ibaka fall to round 2 and we pass them up.

...we only end up with Love.

If we add an asset to picking him up, I won't jump, but won't be as happy as with other options.

Walker for Miller as the base. where they get the value because they are trying to dump Miller.
Memphis gives the 5th pick---we give them the 34th pick as well as either the Mia or Bos pick next year. Perhaps we even throw Shad in there if they see the value.

Wow, any chance we get Love+mAyo+Miller this year?

boy I'd wet my pants - literally!!!! this is one of the rare scenarios I'd love to give up Shad plus one of the future picks... damn. sign me up. if McHale could pull off that I'd think he's one of the better GMs out there. we'd make out like bandits in this draft.

I don't know the salaries but I'd also consider taking Cardinal if that's the deal breaker.

Walker, Buckner, McCants, and picks for Miller, Cardinal, and #5 works. We lose cap flexibility in the near future, but we add considerable talent in Miller, Mayo, and a bigman.

I actually don't think cap flexibilty is that important - especially for a small market team like minny and a notoriuos winter time. unless we're going to into the luxury I'd consider taking some bad contracts if we gain enough talent and I think the talent IS there in this deal.

Apparently I was right about the phone call. But McHale only read half my post.
