re-doing the 1999 draft

Post#1 » by asdfgh » Fri Jun 27, 2008 8:24 pm

nbadraft.net has updated their website and one of the things they added is mock drafts from previous years, all the way back to 1999. I thought of using those mock drafts to play a game where I will re-do the drafts, beginning with the 1999 draft. I can explain why I'm only giving you these 4 options.
So please vote and remember that this only a game I'm playing for my own (and hopefully everyone else's) amusement!

So far we have:
1. Chicago Bulls: Elton Brand, Duke
2. Vancouver Grizzlies: Corey Maggette, Duke
3. Charlotte Hornets: Baron Davis, UCLA
4. Los Angeles Clippers: Rip Hamilton, Connecticut
5. Toronto Raptors: Shawn Marion, UNLV

No options for Artest, Andre Miller, James Posey, AK47, MANU? I'm going with Manu.

That's a legitimate question. I guess I should explain how I made the selections for the poll:
I included the plauer your team selected, plus players selected before him in the real draft but not in this one. I also included the pick you had in the mock draft plus players selected before him in the mock draft but not in this one.

So we can only choose from the 4 options above? Well if so I think probably Lamar would be best case scenario.

Yeah, Odom is the best on the list, but I'd rather have Ginobili or Artest, and maybe Andre Miller, AK47, or James Posey.
