By far Mike Miller is better, priced 6 mil more or not. Chemistry is drastically underrated imo. A guy who is good who wants to be with a team who is a dead eye shooter is much better than a every-man-for-himself-has-the-tools-to-be-great-but-is-too-worried-about-taking-50-shots-a
game-and-is-poor-for-chemisty type player

I'd take Mike Miller any day of the week over Ricky. I wouldn't have said that until I saw him first hand. And my opinion could change after watching Miller ball for my team as well. But as was said, chemistry-wise, Miller is worlds above Ricky, and makes that $6 mil a non issue.

$2.3 mil on Ricky Davis is still a bargain. And no, not a bargain I would want back on the wolves.

Clippers did get a bargain, no issue with their signing.

I am also amazed Davis took so little, i thought he would hve gotten more from some other teams

That is great value. They have a lot of guys who like to dominate the offense in B Davis, R Davis, and Gordon. Will the frontcourt even touch the ball?

That is a sick amount for such a good basketball player. Regardless, of how people feel amout the guy.

The clippers are actually a well built team on paper. I like their combinations.

Of course 'on paper' does not take into account the fact they have two headcases in Davis and Davis

I like the Clippers, too, but then again they are the Clippers.

I wouldn't take Davis back even if it was the vet minimum. If we don't want him here for $2.3 million, why would anyone think the LAC got a bargain? Odviously most of them other GM's felt he wasn't worth the headache.

Like usual, the Clippers are assembling a team that could compete well or implode. I don't think Davis will help matters, but then again, really don't care.

Clipper fan here.

Was Ricky D. a so-called "cancer" in his Minny days? The Heat fans said he was far from it in Miami. Just wanted you guys' input.

I dont think he was a cancer as such.

He just was not very good

There was one time when Dwayne Casey took him out near the end of a game, and instead of waiting for the game to end Ricky went to the locker room. Correct me if I'm wrong or mixed something up.

Ricky D supposedly have some issues. Walking out on Dwane Casey is inexcusable, some of the things Taylor said suggested that he wasn't the greatest locker room presence but he did do a lot of positive here too.

He might be one of those players where if things go bad, he may not be the best to have around but if things are going great, he's a great guy to have on the squad. Either way he's not bad enough where a team shouldn't take him for 2 mil. Great signing great deal.

There were suggestions that Ricky loved to party quite a bit more than he loved basketball, too. Poor work ethic. None of this stuff was ever confirmed though afaik.

Ricky Davis would rather party then prepare for a game by reading scouting reports and is not a winner plain and simple. He is capable of getting himself 17-5-5 sure but they are as hollow as any numbers in the entire league.

Its a total no contest between him and Mike Miller even at a six million bump in salary.
