the date doesn't seem very long ago, but then you look at the rosters and remember the hilarious Matt Maloney, Brent Price, Bryce Drew trio

Sucks that I don't have NBATV. ESPN classic needs to step the hell up!

Yeah, for sure... ESPN Classic is absolute garbage with their American Gladiators, Poker, Bull riding, strongest man contests mary-go-rounds (however it's spelled) from day to day, and then here and there (around big basketball occasions) they show basketball. Just atrocious.

Whenever I check (like every day) through the show listings I'm just like "what the ****?"

lol

Is this the game in which KG pulled that monster put back jam in which he caught the ball down by his waist and pulled it back up for a two handed flush? That was ridiculous. I know it was late 90s and against the Rockets.

I remember when ESPN classic was taken off of basic cable and put into digital. I didn't like it. Then about 16 months ago we get digital back and that channel has been straight garbage. Classic my butt. They just show stupid crap on there they can't put anywhere else. They never show basketball games, you get some boxing. Hell they could even show Stephan A. Smiths show once in awhile. I thought it was pretty good and was sad to see it canceled.

I would love it if ESPN Classic had a 90's basketball week or something. It seems like whenever they show games it was in the 80's or lower. They never show any mid-late 90's action.

Bill Curley - He was a throw-in for some trade I think. He was always injured, either that or they made it up so they didn't have to play him.
Tom Hammonds - decent backup, he enjoyed competing in destruction derbies in his free time.
Andrae Patterson - showed some promise as a second round pick but he never panned out. He was a nicely built 6'7-6'9 PF.
Chris Carr - competed in a dunk contest for us. He now trains basketball players in the Twin Cities area.
Reggie Jordan - Hardly ever played.
Paul Grant - One of McHale's big man busts.

Without doing any research, I can only remember he played for the Grizzlies, I'm pretty sure before the Rockets.

Actually we drafted Dickerson along with Bryce Drew and Mirsard Turkan the same year Rashard Lewis came out of Elsik High School in Houston. We actually told Lewis wed definatley draft him and past 3 times :noway:

Dickerson I was okay with because he played well with Houston and was a real threat from downtown. We then traded him to Vancouver along with some other players for Steve Francis. Which was a great trade for us.

I think Dickerson played 1 maybe 2 years with the Grizz before having major knee problems I believe which forced him to retire very early in his career.
