Training Camp

Post#1 » by Cy32 » Mon Sep 29, 2008 1:29 pm

Training camp starts Tuesday at Minnesota State. The article below tells of Taylor's expectations for this season.

He tells about building this team from players who put team first unlike in 04-05 when Sam and Sprewell put contract first and Sprewell hasn't been heard from since.

From page 2 of the article.
Taylor said the team and staff will be at his house tonight for dinner, then he’s excited for the week to begin, watching from the seats at Bresnan Arena as this season’s team takes shape.

I like how the team spends so much time together doing simple things now. The Dinner, KG and the movie a couple seasons back, I think McCants has regular game nights or something where they play cards.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

I like it. When you are younger coaches always put emphasis on team unity and doing things together getting to know your fellow teammates. I always played harder when I am friends with my teammates knowing that I don't want to let my friends down.

*Just FYI: The Wolves are televising preseason games for the first time in their history, I believe. You can catch two of them — Target Center contests against Chicago and Milwaukee on consecutive nights on Oct. 22 and 23 — on FSN.

There will be preseason audio on NBA.com, but I doubt any video.

I'm going to the Wolves/Bucks preseason game in Milwaukee on Monday :-)
