Two words: Lean Cuisine.

Serously, though, I'll cook for him. I wonder what he pays.

I read that too, a bit disappointing. Good to see that he's trying to attack it early by interviewing chefs, but hope he gets over this quickly. I don't want to have those situations like with Shaq where you have to have a story before every season updating on what kinda shape Shaq is in this time. Only got one career, push yourself K Luv'n!

Fat can kick some butt if you know how to use it right, AKA Charles Barkley. Put that rump on those legs and go to work!

Where in the original article did it say he's gained weight? I don't see it.

Love 15 pounds before the June draft by extensive exercise and changing his diet to include custom-made, packaged meals and appears to have gained some of that back over the summer.

It's missing the word "lost" between "Love" and "15", but you get the idea.

Exactly. It says he lost, not gained. Thats what I don't get.

I'm not sure what part of "appears to have gained some of that back over the summer" is so difficult to understand?

I hope the word is "lost" and not "ate nothing but cheese curds every day, sometimes more than .."

I wonder who the other guys on the bus are.

McHale's assessment of Love's defense: "Smart, knows how to move, rotate his feet, defensive-rebounds very well, puts his body on people, not afraid to take charges. Quick small-area player. He'll have to guard bigger than him, guard smaller than him. The good news in our league is that most of the guys bigger than him are terrible, so you don't really have to worry about it.''

He must have just been watching youtube videos of Collins. He seems to think that Love will be a decent defensive player. I hope he is right.

I wouldn't worry too much about Love's weight as long as he's conscious about it. Hiring a chef early is key. I bet part of the weight gain has to do with his rookie engagements plus EA Sports engagements being on the cover of NCAA 09. I bet he hasn't been able to work out like he wants to. That should change now.
