Hollinger: Wolves will go 31-51

Post#1 » by PeeDee » Wed Oct 1, 2008 10:14 pm

Tied with Atlanta for the 8th worst record.

Other notes of interest:

He has Miami going 39-43... 11th worst (meaning we'd get their draft pick)
He also has Boston finishing with the best record and Utah finishing with the 2nd best.

So, according to Hollinger, barring any lottery success, we'd get the 8th or 9th pick, the 11th pick and the 29th and 30th picks in the 2009 NBA draft.

Package four of those for a baller and cap relief and we are SET! Would be nice to get a legit C though. Which centers will be available in the upcoming draft?
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Thabeet. I'd package picks to move and grab him, if necessary.

what if we really hit the jackpot by moving up many positions in the lottery? like getting the 2nd and the 4th pick? I guess a wet dream comes true

but hey we are the wolves. we'll lose in the lottery and have to give our pick to the clips

Only way that is possible is for Boston to be really bad and end up with the 4th pick and our own pick to be #2.
