Rodney Carney was the state high jump champion for the state of Indiana and has a personal best of 6 ft 11 in. Insert Gerald Green joke here.

Carney also has an athletic family. This is from wikipedia:

Carney's mother, DeAndra Ware, was a world-class sprinter holding the world indoor record in the 60 yard dash and 55 meter dash and would have competed in the 1980 Summer Olympics if not for the U.S. boycott. The fact that she could not compete in the Olympics motivated Rodney to play in the NBA. DeAndra was also the Indiana state champion in the 100 m and 200m dash. His brother, Ron Slay, was a basketball star at the University of Tennessee. He also has two other half brothers, Ramon and Renardo Foster. Renardo currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons at offensive tackle and Ramon is currently at the University of Tennessee and plays at offensive guard.

5. A few months after joining the team in a draft-day trade, center Jason Collins is out for 8 weeks with an elbow injury

Such a fun fact.

Love's thoughts on Minnesota: "It's Cold". Cmon Kev Man Up! I think it's funny how some people think MN is cold every month of the year. I work at a cell center and during the summer some guy asked me If it was cold out. "No Sir, It's 90 degrees right now ...it's July."

Yea really. All we do here is freeze our butts off and go ice fishing 24/7. We never experience anything else.

You don't have to lie on the internet to impress people. Everyone from Minnesota knows that you can only ice fish here in July and August, any other month and it's too cold to be more than 5 feet away from a fireplace. There's no way in hell you're able to survive long enough outdoors in October, much less January to go ice fishing.

Not to keep getting off topic here, but this woman makes Minnesotans look real bad.
