OT end of the year awards

Post#1 » by Basti » Sat Jan 3, 2009 1:31 am

same procedure as every year :D

I'm surprised though that it hasn't been done yet... maybe everyone forgot it while we were standing in the corner being fully ashamed of this team

anyway here we go

Most Valueable Poster
Most Improved Poster
Best New Poster (signed up in 2007)
Best International Poster (only for us foreigners :D)
Most Knowlegdeable Poster
Most Passionate Poster
Funniest Poster
Most cynical Poster
Most missed Poster
Poster most likely wake up next to Big Al
Poster most likely to go postal

edit:
I got a few more categories

Post of the year
Thread of the year
Best Wolves-Mod
Best Non-Wolves-Mod
Best Non-Wolves-Poster

feel free to add others - I'm sure I forgot some categories

I was wondering where this thread was.

Most Valueable Poster - Shrink
Most Improved Poster - incredible_basti he's been providing us with some yummy pie
Best New Poster (signed up in 2007) - mcfale313 ..see him around alot
Best International Poster (only for us foreigners :D) - of course our very own incredible_basti
Most Knowlegdeable Poster - Shrink
Most Passionate Poster - whoever is left on this board during our tough time is passionate.
Funniest Poster - Calinks or Devilz
Most cynical Poster - Disgruntled
Poster most likely wake up next to Big Al
Poster most likely to go postal - Devilz, he is one unpredictable dude
Post of the year - dont know
Thread of the year - dont know
Best Wolves-Mod - i have to say franchise21, he carried the load when rev was MIA for awhile
Best Non-Wolves-Mod - Blame_rasho
Best Non-Wolves-Poster No idea, probably that knicks guy that used to come here

may i add "most pessimistic poster", that goes to Disgruntled...he beat out casey by a hair.(Even though I don't consider casey pessimistic, he's just stating cold hard facts)

aah damn that pessimistic one was the one I was looking for :D I'll put it together with the cynical one

Most Valueable Poster Devilz
Most Improved Poster Calinks
Best New Poster (signed up in 2007) I always have problems keeping track of the new ones and last year we got tons of new posters. I like a lot of them. gotta go with my fellow german poster Foye ;)
Best International Poster (only for us foreigners :D) McFale said he's not american so I pick him
Most Knowlegdeable Poster Shrink and Deeney
Most Passionate Poster Calinks
Funniest Poster Devilz
Most cynical/pessimistic Poster Disgruntled
Most missed Poster oh there are a few, MVP4life, NC, younggunsmn (why did he have to stop posting after the draft day deal. damn you McHale) and our lovely Cy32. I know she's still around here and then but it rarely happens
Poster most likely wake up next to Big Al Kingly hehehe
Poster most likely to go postal I guess after the horrible loss vs the Mavs lately the entire board
Post of the year too many...
Thread of the year way too many as well. I might pick the official Vaudeville thread :D
Best Wolves-Mod I always liked WormGuts as a poster but since he's not an official wolves mod I go with Rev
Best Non-Wolves-Mod LuvthoseKnicks
Best Non-Wolves-Poster a couple of guys from the OT board...

wow, I can't believe I forgot about deeney.

Rev - if it makes you feel better, you and only a handful of posters are the only opinions I take into account when reading this board.

I bet you could get couple of dudes from Hoopshype, a draft pick from Gamefaqs and a restraining order from Rubechat.

I reccommend adding two more categories this year:

Biggest Homer, or Homer of the Year -- i.e. the poster that over values Wolves players the most

Bigget Rube, or Rube of the Year -- i.e. most arrogant, or the poster that most thinks s/he is a know it all
