Isles Moving to Barclay Center

A hockey team grew in Brooklyn Wednesday, and suddenly the borough that hasn’t had a pro franchise since 1957 is the hotbed of New York sports.
In a move that sent shock waves from Nassau County to Madison Square Garden, Islanders owner Charles Wang announced his team would be moving to Brooklyn for the start of the 2015-16 hockey season.
