Gonchar decided to take the surgery. Good thing is, at least he will be back to play in the playoffs. I must say, Ray Shero is the best GM in the league. He has always said, for a team to be successful, they need 10 NHL ready defenseman. Because of this theory, the Pens won't hurt too much with the loss of Gonchar and Whitney. Read the rest here:
